The last night of finals from the 2019 FINA World Cup in Singapore had eleven total events as the Asia cluster of the World Cup came to a close on Saturday night.\u00a0Danas Rapsys\u00a0<\/strong>closed out his third World Cup meet in style with a monstrous 200 free with the world’s fastest time.\u00a0Mitch Larkin<\/strong>,\u00a0Katinka Hosszu<\/strong>,\u00a0Emily Seebohm\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Andrew Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>completed clean sweeps in their various events as they close out their 2019 seasons and go home and regroup for the Olympic year.<\/p>\n

The fourth stop of the World Cup will be October 4-6 in Budapest.<\/p>\n

Men’s 200 Free<\/h3>\n
Lithuania’s\u00a0Danas Rapsys\u00a0<\/strong>scorched the world leading time in the 200 free to break his own World Cup record with a 1:44.38, lowering his previous record at 1:45.07 from Jinan last week. Rapsys notably touched first in the 200 free final at the World Championships but was disqualified for flinching at the start. He was able to redeem himself a little bit with a 1:44.3, which was much quicker than the winning time from the Championships. Rapsys also moved up to sixth all-time with his swim as he won by four seconds over\u00a0Thomas Fraser-Holmes\u00a0<\/strong>(1:48.69).<\/p>\n
China’s\u00a0Cao Jiwen\u00a0<\/strong>(1:50.56) finished in third place.<\/p>\n
