The Canadian swim team ends the Games with 15 medals (one gold, eight silver and six bronze).<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s medley relay, the U.S. won the gold medal in three minutes and 57.64 seconds followed by the Canadians with Hanus and <strong>Faith Knelson<\/strong>, both from Swimming Canada\u2019s High Performance Centre-Victoria, <strong>Haley Black<\/strong> of HPC-Vancouver and Zevnik of Ottawa, in 4:01.90. Brazil was third in 4:04.96.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;We\u2019re all really stoked with it,\u2019\u2019 said Knelson. &#8220;We were definitely trying to go for gold but the American girls had a really good swim. We\u2019re really happy to finish the week with a medal. It was a total team effort.\u2019\u2019<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Qualifying Swimming Canada for the final in prelims were <strong>Mackenzie Glover<\/strong> of Winnipeg, <strong>Mary-Sophie Harvey<\/strong> of Trois-Rivieres, Que., <strong>Katerine Savard<\/strong> of Pont-Rouge, Que., and <strong>Alyson Ackman<\/strong> of Pointe-Claire, Que.<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s 200 IM, the Americans were 1-2 with <strong>Alexandra Walsh<\/strong> first in 2:11.24 and <strong>Meghan Small<\/strong> second in 2:11.36. Andison took third spot in 2:14.14. <strong>Erika Seltenreich-Hodgson<\/strong> of Ottawa was sixth in 2:15.52.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;The time is really not indicative of what I\u2019m capable of,\u2019\u2019 said Andison, who has battled an illness this week. &#8220;It was tough. I\u2019m really happy with the medal but I know I can go a lot faster.\u2019\u2019<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Javier Acevedo<\/strong> of Ajax, Ont., was seventh in the men\u2019s 200 IM in 2:04.23.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;I want to congratulate all our swimmers for a fabulous week,\u2019\u2019 said <strong>Iain McDonald<\/strong>, the team leader for the Swimming Canada. &#8220;We were in 32 finals and to convert nearly half of those into medals is a really great rate at this level of competition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;It speaks to the depth we\u2019ve been able to create in our overall senior program.
