The women&#8217;s 1500 and men&#8217;s 800 free timed finals will also happen later on in the day as the fastest seeded heat will be at finals.<\/p>\n<p>Not surprising that <strong>Caeleb Dressel<\/strong> is not on the start list. It was originally anticipated that he would swim at the meet, but after world championships, he decided not to.<\/p>\n<p>Prelims will begin at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2019-us-nationals-day-five-prelims-heat-sheets-day-5-usa-senior-national-2019-08-04.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HEAT SHEETS<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Madisyn Cox\u00a0<\/strong>will be swimming her bread and butter event, the 200 IM. Cox is the top seed and will be looking to put up a good swim to put herself in the top 10 in the world. She is currently ninth in the world and will want to put up a good swim today to gain some momentum into the Olympic year. Cox is seeded ahead of Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Calypso Sheridan<\/strong> and fellow Longhorn\u00a0<strong>Evie Pfeifer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 200 IM will see\u00a0<strong>Mark Szaranek\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Ryan Lochte\u00a0<\/strong>swimming in the final two heats as Lochte is swimming in his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ryan-lochte-suspended-by-usada-until-july-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">first race back after suspension<\/a>. Lochte has not made an A-Final in any events he swam this week at Stanford but the 200 IM is his best shot. He still holds the world record and has won four World titles in this event.\u00a0<strong>Carson Foster<\/strong>, who broke the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/carson-foster-breaks-world-junior-record-in-400-im-at-us-nationals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">world junior record in the 400 IM<\/a>, is seeded third here in the 200.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anna Hopkin<\/strong> is the top seed in the 50 free but will not be swimming the event. <strong>Catie DeLoof\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Gretchen Walsh\u00a0<\/strong>are seeded second and third as Walsh is one of the best young high school swimmers in the country. Tennessee&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Erika Brown\u00a0<\/strong>is also in the 50 free as she is one of the fastest performers in short course yards in this event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tate Jackson\u00a0<\/strong>is the top seed in the men&#8217;s 50 free ahead of\u00a0<strong>Erik Risolvato\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Ryan Held<\/strong>, who had a notable swim in the 100 free. Held <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ryan-held-breaks-his-own-us-open-and-meet-record\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">broke the US Open and US Nationals meet record in the 100 free<\/a> on Wednesday night with a 47.3, gaining some huge momentum into the Olympic year.
