Though the evening was full of close finishes, a few swimmers were able to set themselves apart from their competition with incredible strength and determination.<\/p>\n<p>Results can be found on Meet Mobile under 2019 Futures Greensboro.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 Free<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Savannah Barr<\/strong> obtained the first gold medal of the evening with a time of 2:02.61. Shortly after her would be <strong>Sophie Housey<\/strong>, touching the wall at 2:03.65 for the silver medal. The bronze would go to <strong>Blair Stoneburg<\/strong>; her time was a 2:04.37.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adrianna Cera<\/strong> would take come in fourth place at 2:04.54, while <strong>Kylie Yoder<\/strong> finished fifth with a time of 2:04.91. Sixth place went to <strong>Olywn Bartis\u00a0<\/strong>at 2:05.03. In seventh would be <strong>Addison Sauickie<\/strong> at 2:05.62, and at 2:06.63 <strong>Jennifer Secrest<\/strong> would finish in eighth place.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 200 Free<\/h3>\n<p>Distinguishing himself by over a minute, <strong>Robert Cecil<\/strong> would claim victory at 1:52.43. <strong>Wesley Kephart<\/strong> finished in second place with a time of 1:53.90, and <strong>Michael Cotter&#8217;s<\/strong> 1:54.09 scored in third place.<\/p>\n<p>Not far behind Cotter was <strong>Rene Strezenicky Franko<\/strong>, who touched the wall at 1:54.26 to secure fourth place. <strong>Enzo Kihara\u00a0<\/strong>would finish fifth at 1:54.84. In sixth would be <strong>Alexander Ballard<\/strong>, who finished with a 1:55.02. Seventh went to <strong>Reese Branzell <\/strong>at 1:56.22, and<strong> Noah Smith <\/strong>finished in eighth place at 1:57.02.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100 Breast<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Masy Folick&#8217;s<\/strong> 1:11.54 finish comfortably secured her first place, while <strong>Genevieve Joyce\u00a0<\/strong>finished in second place, and <strong>Gracie Weyant<\/strong> took third; their times were 1:12.81 and 1:13.14, respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carly Schwab <\/strong>would settle for fourth place with a time of 1:13.21. <strong>Madison Koutavas<\/strong> (1:13.49) would out-touch <strong>Saige Kemeny<\/strong> (1:13.50) by the narrowest of margins in the battle for fourth and fifth place. <strong>Rachel Horne<\/strong> took seventh place at 1:14.00, and <strong>Olivia Peoples<\/strong> would finish in eighth place at 1:14.37.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100 Breast<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cameron Conners<\/strong> would emerge victorious in a close race for gold against <strong>Matthew Bond<\/strong> and <strong>Christian March<\/strong>. Conners&#8217; time, a 1:03.63. Bond walked away with the silver medal at 1:04.22, and March received the bronze with a 1:04.33.<\/p>\n<p>In fourth place, <strong>Jacob Queen<\/strong> would hit the wall at 1:04.54. <strong>Jordan Mintz<\/strong> finished at 1:04.73 in fifth place. Sixth place went to Phillip Meffert with a time of 1:04.81<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100 Fly<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Gabrielle Vanbrunt<\/strong><strong>&#8216;s\u00a0<\/strong>triumphant victory came at 1:00.49, two seconds ahead of<strong> Addison Reese<\/strong>, whose second place finish came at 1:02.00. Close behind was<strong> Lydia Hanlon<\/strong> who in third place clocked in at 1:02.17.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rhian Russell\u00a0<\/strong>took fourth at 1:02.45, while <strong>Taylor Bloom<\/strong> finished in fifth place with a time of 1:02.71. <strong>Bella Answeeney\u00a0<\/strong>was the sixth swimmer to touch the wall; her time was a 1:03.04. In seventh place, <strong>Blair Stoneburg<\/strong> would finish with a 1:03.12.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100 Fly<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Spencer Jyawook<\/strong> obtained the top spot with a time of 55.39. <strong>Tucker Burhans<\/strong> came in second place at 55.81, while <strong>Jesse Ssengonzi\u00a0<\/strong>finished in third place with a 56.22.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kevin Geist<\/strong> and <strong>William Watson<\/strong> spilt hairs at the finish, with Geist taking fourth and leaving Watson in fifth. Their times were 56.31 and 56.34, respectively. Similarly, <strong>Elliot Cooper <\/strong>out-touched\u00a0<strong>Jackson Vanwanzeele\u00a0<\/strong>sixth place at 56.61. Vanwanzeele&#8217;s seventh place finish clocked in at 56.65. Eighth place went to <strong>Jason Green<\/strong> at 56.94.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 400 IM<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Julia Podkoscielny&#8217;s<\/strong> stellar first place finish came at 4:50.42, almost three whole minutes ahead of <strong>Anna Freed<\/strong>, who came in second at 4:53.08. Third place went to <strong>Summer Chmielewski<\/strong>, whose time was a 4:56.84.<\/p>\n<p>In fourth place, <strong>Olivia Sutter<\/strong> clocked in at 4:57.97. <strong>Mallory Schleicher<\/strong> finished fifth with a 4:58.69. Hot on her heels was a surging <strong>Gracie Weyant<\/strong>, who settled for sixth place with a 4:58.98. <strong>Laura Davis<\/strong> took seventh place at 4:59.95, and <strong>Saige Kemeny<\/strong> would finish in eighth place at 5:02.38.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 400 IM<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Lance Norris<\/strong> successfully held off <strong>Tyler Watson<\/strong> to secure the gold medal with a time of 4:27.23. Watson finished at 4:27.65, securing him the silver. The bronze went to <strong>Alexander Gusev<\/strong>, whose time was a 4:30.44.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jason Brzozowski<\/strong> touched the wall at 4:33.93 for fourth place, and <strong>Braedon Haughey<\/strong> finished in fifth place with a 4:35.18.
