The biggest highlight of the prelims session was\u00a0<strong>Andrew Seliskar\u00a0<\/strong>posting a 51.4 in the 100 fly to move to eighth in the world rankings for 2019.\u00a0<strong>Katinka Hosszu\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Jacob Pebley\u00a0<\/strong>also put up solid heats times in their swims.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.finatv.live\/en\/competitions\/2019-sw-world-cup\/video\/swimming-heats-2-aug-2019-08-02-tokyo-sw-world-cup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Live Stream<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/fina.org\/event\/fina-swimming-world-cup-2019-1\/results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Live Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 400 Free<\/h3>\n<p>Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kiah Melverton\u00a0<\/strong>had the fastest 400 free time on Friday morning at the 2019 FINA World Swimming Cup in Tokyo. Melverton successfully made two A-Finals at World Championships last week, placing seventh in both the 800 and 1500 freestyle finals. She is ahead of Japan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Miyu Namba\u00a0<\/strong>(4:12.50) and Spain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mireia Belmonte<\/strong>, who had a disappointing World Championships with zero medals. She won three medals two years ago at the Budapest World Championships.<\/p>\n<p>USA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Erica Sullivan\u00a0<\/strong>(4:12.75) and Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maddy Gough<\/strong> (4:13.06) placed fourth and fifth.
