He will be flanked by compatriot<strong> Evgeny Rylov<\/strong> and Romania\u2019s<strong> Robert Glinta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>USA swimmers <strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong> and <strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> will look to crash the medal party.<\/p>\n<p>The first women\u2019s event of the session is the 50 breast with the familiar scene of USA\u2019s<strong> Lilly King<\/strong> and Russia\u2019s <strong>Yuliya<\/strong> <strong>Efimova<\/strong> in adjoining lanes.<\/p>\n<p>Italy\u2019s<strong> Benedetta Pilato<\/strong> and <strong>Martina Carraro<\/strong> flank the two rivals.<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s 1500 free final will see favorite <strong>Gregorio Paltrinieri<\/strong> of Italy in his familiar lane four, flanked by Germany\u2019s <strong>Florian Wellbrock<\/strong> and Ukraine\u2019s <strong>Mykhailo Romanchuk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 50 free will follow in a completely stacked field \u2014 so stacked that <strong>Abbey Weitzeil<\/strong> finished 10<sup>th<\/sup> out of semifinals and didn\u2019t make the final.<\/p>\n<p>Sweden\u2019s <strong>Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> has the top seed and will be in lane four, flanked by Denmark\u2019s <strong>Pernille Blume<\/strong> and Australia\u2019s <strong>Cate Campbell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If that wasn\u2019t enough star power, the rest of the field consists of USA\u2019s <strong>Simone Manuel<\/strong>, Britain\u2019s <strong>Anna<\/strong> <strong>Hopkin<\/strong>, Australia\u2019s <strong>Bronte Campbell<\/strong>, Russia\u2019s <strong>Mariia Kameneva<\/strong> and <strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> of the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>You can\u2019t count anyone out.<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s 400 IM will see Japan\u2019s <strong>Daiya Seto<\/strong> as the top seed in lane four, flanked by USA\u2019s <strong>Jay Litherland<\/strong> and <strong>Arjan<\/strong> <strong>Knipping<\/strong> of the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 400 IM will close the individual events for the meet. Hungary\u2019s <strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> has owned this event for years and at age 30 is still the top seed and will be in lane four. She will be flanked by China\u2019s <strong>Ye Shiwen<\/strong> and Japan\u2019s <strong>Yui<\/strong> <strong>Ohashi<\/strong>, while USA\u2019s<strong> Ally McHugh<\/strong>, Canada\u2019s <strong>Sydney Pickrem<\/strong> and Hungary\u2019s <strong>Zsuzsanna Jakabos<\/strong> will look to move from outside lanes onto the medal podium.<\/p>\n<p>The 4&#215;100 medley relays will close the meet out with Russia the top seed just ahead of the Americans in the men\u2019s race after prelims and the USA women in the top spot ahead of Australia heading into the final event of the meet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The start lists for the 2019 FINA World Championships Day 8 finals have been released with several strong races expected to close the meet.
