USA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong>, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/katie-ledecky-forced-out-of-1500m-free-final-and-200m-heats-by-illness\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pulled out of the 200 free and 1500 free final<\/a> on Tuesday is still not on the start lists for the morning relay. This comes as no surprise since Ledecky would have been rested for the final anyway. The United States should have no problem qualifying for the final with\u00a0<strong>Allison Schmitt<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Gabby DeLoof<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Melanie Margalis\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Leah Smith\u00a0<\/strong>swimming for them this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Ledecky has had a couple days to rest after it was made public that she had not been feeling well since arriving to Gwangju last week. She dropped out of the 200 free heats and 1500 final to rest for the 4&#215;200 free relay and 800 free later in the meet.<\/p>\n<p>Australia is the top seed in this relay and they will have\u00a0<strong>Leah Neale<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Madison Wilson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Brianna Throssell\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Kiah Melverton\u00a0<\/strong>in heat two. The Aussies are looking to win their first World title in the 4&#215;200 free relay as they will bring\u00a0<strong>Ariarne Titmus\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Emma McKeon\u00a0<\/strong>into the final.<\/p>\n<p>Canada will also factor into the race tonight as they will bring in\u00a0<strong>Taylor Ruck\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Penny Oleksiak<\/strong>. China is also expected to be competitive.
