Hood saw numerous close finishes and many swimmers claim a new event title.<\/span><b> Meguru Hotta <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Kaitlyn Dobler<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> both claimed another gold Medal. Bringing <\/span><b>Hotta\u2019s <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">total to three and <\/span><b>Dobler\u2019s <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to four.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a dominant first few days of competition, the Denver Hilltoppers were able to maintain their lead and win the meet with a combined total of 2015 points. Behind them for second was Tualatin Hills accumulating 1691 combined points. Finishing third was Phoenix Swim Club racking up 1576 combined points.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Women\u2019s 200 IM<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a three-second time drop<\/span><b>, Kaitlyn McCoy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of Phoenix Swim Club moved up from her seventh seed to capture the first event with a time of 2:19.66. Swimming into second place was <\/span><b>Morgan Brophy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who was close behind <\/span><b>McCoy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> posting a time of 2:19.91. For third <\/span><b>Emma Matous<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of Tualatin Hills followed with a 2:21.01. <\/span><b>Mary Codevilla<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> finished fourth with 2:21.08, followed by <\/span><b>Lauren Burckel<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 2:22.190. Then came <\/span><b>Katharine Adams<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 2:23.05, <\/span><b>Charity Pittard<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 2:23.71, and <\/span><b>Brandi Vu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 2:25.07.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Men\u2019s 200 IM<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Phoenix Swim Club\u2019s <\/span><b>Meguru Hotta<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> claimed his third title as well in this event after a massive six-second drop with a time of 2:03.34. Behind him was <\/span><b>Jack Hoagland <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who won the 200 free earlier in the meet of Charger Aquatics in second at 2:04.07. <\/span><b>Jackson Cunningham <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of Swim Utah touched at 2:05.91 for third.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fourth place went to <\/span><b>Lukas Miller<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 2:06.70, followed by <\/span><b>Andrew Britton<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 2:07.57, <\/span><b>Harrison Lierz <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at 2:08.27. Coming in seventh was <\/span><b>Kyle Benjamin<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 2:10.63 and following behind for 8th was <\/span><b>Diego Nosack <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at 2:10.95.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Women\u2019s 1500 Free<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sixteen-year-old <\/span><b>Kathryn Shanely <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">saw a 16-second drop, the Foothills Swim Team member claimed her first event title of the meet hitting a 17:02.61. Trailing behind her for second <\/span><b>Sara McClendon <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of Swim Utah<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at 17:13.55. <\/span><b>Lucia Davis <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">800 free and 400 free champion of Bronco Swim Club touched at 17:13.64 for third. <\/span><b>Mia Rankin <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">touched next at 17:14.71, ahead of <\/span><b>Allison Bernier <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at 17:14.99. Touching the wall at sixth <\/span><b>Haley Hil <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">touching the wall at 17:19.81, followed by <\/span><b>Millia Ruthven <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at 17:20.70, and <\/span><b>Kylie Ney<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 17:35.22.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Men\u2019s 1500 Free<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Swim Neptune\u2019s <\/span><b>Ellis Bohon <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">captured the crown at 16:06.48. He was chased to the finish by <\/span><b>Daniel Matheson<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of Scottsdale Aquatic Club touching at 16:06.56. Coming in third was <\/span><b>Rhys Winter <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of Swim Utah at 16:15.27. <\/span><b>Brandon Shreeve <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">touched at 16:18.42 for fourth. Right behind <\/span><b>Shreeve<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was 800 free and 400 free champion <\/span><b>Kevin Jackson<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who finished at 16:20.88. <\/span><b>Jesse Haraden <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">touched next at 16:21.94, ahead of <\/span><b>Cooper Kiel <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at 16:22.33. Rounding out the top 8 was <\/span><b>Jackson McDonald <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">came in at 16:23.53.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Women\u2019s 50 Free<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Claiming her fourth title of the meet 100 free winner <\/span><b>Kaitlyn Dobler <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">once again placed first by almost a second at 25.68. Behind<\/span><b> Dobler<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was <\/span><b>Anna Shaw <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of Denver Hilltoppers 26.39. Following for third was <\/span><b>Chloe Larson <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from Cougar Aquatics at 26.45.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coming in at fourth was <\/span><b>Eleanor Beers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 26.50. Right behind <\/span><b>Beers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was <\/span><b>Avery Turney <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at a 26.64, followed by <\/span><b>Jenna Smith <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">26.66. Then came <\/span><b>Katharine Berkoff <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">winner of the 200 free and 200 back at 26.73 and rounding out the top 8 <\/span><b>Aysia Leckie<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 26.88.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Men\u2019s 50 Free<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The splash and dash was anyone&#8217;s race with the whole heat being under 24 however <\/span><b>Ethan Luc<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> claimed the title in this event after a half-second drop with a time of 23.18. For the second <\/span><b>Casper Corbeau<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of Tualatin Hills who slammed into the wall with a time of 23.33 and for the third it was <\/span><b>Fischer Basham <\/b>of Denver Hilltoppers at 23.39.<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In fourth was <\/span><b>Jackson Gainer <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with a 23.47, fifth was <\/span><b>Lukas Miller<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at 23.57. Coming in sixth place was 100 free winner <\/span><b>Hugo Sykes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who touched at 23.69. Seventh place went to <\/span><b>Darragh Mahns<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (23.94) and eighth place went to <\/span><b>Cale Berkoff <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(23.99).<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Women\u2019s 400 Medley Relay<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The last night of relays saw another successful finish for the \u201cA\u201d team from the University of Denver Hilltoppers secured first place with a time of 4:15.33. Coming in three seconds later was the Tualatin Hills \u201cA\u201d team took second with a time of 4:18.02. Rounding out the podium was Phoenix Swim Club taking bronze at 4:19.70.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Men\u2019s 400 Medley Relay<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the men&#8217;s side, the Swim Utah \u201cB\u201d team sprinted into the wall claiming the event title posting a time of 3:47.49. Behind them was previous relay winners, the Denver Hilltoppers \u201cA\u201d team at 3:52.80.
