This evening we saw the distance swimmers conquer the 1500, then the sprint swimmers power through the 50. The 200 Individual Medley put the all-around swimmers to the test, and the 400 Medley Relay tested the team\u2019s all around ability.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Rachel Stege<\/strong> was reigned the distance queen, while <strong>Tevyn Waddell<\/strong> was named a force to be reckoned with in any of the strokes. <strong>Caleb Aman<\/strong> remained undefeated in an I.M. event at this meet, and<strong> Cameron Kelley<\/strong> showed his dominance in freestyle. Waddell clocked in at a winning time of 2:19.12, slightly ahead of the second place finisher, <strong>Callahan Dunn<\/strong> at a 2:20.23. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Kaylynn Schoof<\/strong> from the Elmbrook Swim Club finished with a 2:20.53 to take third. Wisconsin Aquatics <strong>Jenna Silvestri<\/strong> slammed the wall at 2:21.45, with <strong>Megan Hutchins<\/strong> only 5 hundredths behind her at a 2:21.50. Emma <strong>Lasecki<\/strong> (2:22.05) finished sixth, followed by <strong>Mallory Jump<\/strong> (2:22.42), and <strong>Brecken Merkel<\/strong> (2:23.03).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Men\u2019s 200 Individual Medley Relay<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wisconsin Aquatic\u2019s <strong>Caleb Aman<\/strong> takes his second win of the weekend and touched the wall first with a 2:03.79. <strong>Nicholas Saulnier<\/strong> of University of Minnesota slammed the wall next with a 2:07.36. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aquajet&#8217;s <strong>Dolan Craine<\/strong> (2:08.17) completed the top three and out touched St. Charles\u2019s <strong>Kyle Lewarchick<\/strong> (2:08.48). Wyoming teammates <strong>Seth Borgert<\/strong> (2:09.83) and <strong>James Bouda<\/strong> (2:09.93) took fifth of sixth respectively. <strong>Benjamin Attenberger<\/strong> (2:10.21) came out ahead out <strong>Mitchell Hovis<\/strong> (2:10.66) to place seventh and eighth.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Women\u2019s 50 Freestyle<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">16 year-old <strong>Grace Cooper<\/strong> of Delta Aquatics took the 50 freestyle win by over seven tenths, which is arguably a large margin for the 50 freestyle. Grace Cooper touched the wall at a 25.16, followed by Mantas Swim Club\u2019s <strong>Danielle Nack<\/strong> (25.82) and Fox Valley\u2019s <strong>Mckenna Stone<\/strong> (25.87). Cooper, Nack, and Stone all qualified for the Olympic Trials with their respective times. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Hannah Burvill<\/strong> (26.00) clocked in at fourth, followed by <strong>Pyper Doo<\/strong> (26.32),and <strong>Kristen Anderson<\/strong> (26.48). <strong>Grace Hanson<\/strong> (26.57), and <strong>Sarah Schemmel<\/strong> (26.76) rounded out the A final.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Men\u2019s 50 Freestyle<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The top three of the Men\u2019s 50 freestyle qualify for the Olympic Trials as well. Hawkeye\u2019s <strong>Joseph Myhre<\/strong> was the first to the wall with a winning time of 22.91. A teammate of Myhre, <strong>Stjepan Fiolic<\/strong>, was second to the wall at 22.98. 16 Year-Old <strong>Connor Boyle<\/strong> from Fox Valley Swim Club hit the Olympic Trials on the dot with a 23.19 to take third. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Grant Sloan<\/strong> (23.36) clocked in next, followed by <strong>Lucas Farrar<\/strong> (23.52) and <strong>Kevin Braun<\/strong> (23.59). <strong>Matthew Thomas<\/strong> (23.66) and <strong>Emilio Perez<\/strong> (23.72) conclude the Men\u2019s top 8.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Women\u2019s 1500 Freestyle<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Call her the Distance Freestyle queen of the 2019 Speedo Sectionals in Minneapolis, <strong>Rachel Stege<\/strong> wins the 1500 after winning the 400 and 800 freestyle earlier this week. Fox Valley Swim Team\u2019s Rachel Stege had the winning time of a 17:02.58.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Less than a second behind Stege touched University of Minnesota\u2019s <strong>Abbey Erwin<\/strong> at 17:03.16. Barrington Swim Club\u2019s <strong>Magdalena Emary<\/strong> finished third at a time of 17:07.41. Elmbrook Swim Club&#8217;s winning time of 4:13.34, put them just slightly ahead of <strong>Wisconsin Aquatics <\/strong>at 4:15.58. <strong>St. Charles Swim Team<\/strong> takes third, and out touched\u00a0<b>Elmbrooks<\/b><b style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> B Relay<\/b> at 4:23.00. The anchor of Fox Valley slammed the wall at a 3:47.67, about two seconds ahead of the closest team. <strong>Wisconsin Aquatics<\/strong> (3:49.33) and <strong>Wyoming Aquatics<\/strong> (3:49.46) put up a tough battle, but in the end Wisconsin took third while Wyoming took fourth. <strong>St Charles Swim Team<\/strong> (3:54.41) out touched <strong>Elmbrook Swim Club<\/strong> (3:54.45) by only four hundredths of a second. In sixth and seventh were Illinois club\u2019s <strong>West Swim Club<\/strong> (3:55.14) and <strong>West Chicago Sharks<\/strong> (3:55.64).
