PHOENIX, Arizona, September 6. ON today’s edition of The Morning Swim Show we bring you Bob Bowman’s acceptance speech from last year’s American Swim Coaches Association’s world clinic when he was voted Coach of the Year. <\/p>\n

Bowman was responsible for the gold medals won by Michael Phelps and Allison Schmitt at the 2012 Olympics, but he was quick to put a lot of the credit on his assistants at North Baltimore Aquatic Club. Tonight, Bowman could win his sixth Coach of the Year honor, or it could be another American coach who guided a swimmer to great heights in 2013.
