The 2019 Speedo Sectionals Jenks continued today with day two. Events included the 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, and 50 breast. Top place finishers from night one such as <\/span>Brady Kendall<\/b>, <\/span>Autumn Haebig <\/b>and <\/span>Jack Dolan<\/b> kept their spots on the podium tonight, and all competitors kept the fast swims and heavy competition going. Teams such as Club Husker, American Energy, and Greater Omaha were a presence in the top eight of several events. Below are the top eight finishers in each event of the night.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 400 IM\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Taking home the gold in the first event of the night was Springfield\u2019s 16 year old <\/span>Kate McCarville<\/b>, touching the wall with a 4:54.56. Behind her, swimming unattached, was <\/span>Amelie Lessing<\/b> with a 4:57.64. Placing third was Club Husker\u2019s <\/span>Victoria Beeler<\/b> in a 4:58.16. Club Husker certainly made a name for themselves in this event, with half of the top eight finishers coming from them. Rounding out the top eight was Splash Club\u2019s <\/span>Haley Downey <\/b>(4:59.70), Club Husker\u2019s <\/span>Madison Coughlen<\/b> (4:59.90), University of Arkansas\u2019 <\/span>Peyton Palsha<\/b> (5:00.31), Club Husker\u2019s <\/span>Allison Kopas<\/b> (5:01.24), Club Husker\u2019s <\/span>Audrey Coffey <\/b>(5:07.05) rounded out the top eight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 400 IM\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Placing first for the men was American Energy Swim Club\u2019s <\/span>Luke Davis<\/b>. Davis, beating out his closest competitor by four seconds, clocked in at a 4:31.25 – a six-second drop. <\/span>Ryan Baker<\/b> of Parkway placed second with a 4:35.11. Coming in third, also from Parkway, was <\/span>Tyler Lewis<\/b> with a 4:40.24. Arkansas Dolphins\u2019 <\/span>Nathan Bright <\/b>(4:41.87), Empire KC\u2019s <\/span>Daniel Worth<\/b> (4:42.60), Unattached <\/span>Luke Valley<\/b> (4:42.96), Club North\u2019s <\/span>Robert Hill<\/b> (4:50.94), and Arkansas Dolphins\u2019 <\/span>Phillip Stanley<\/b> (4:44.39) completed the top eight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 100 Fly\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bringing home the win in the women\u2019s 100 fly was Plymouth Canton\u2019s 14 year old <\/span>Brady Kendall<\/b>, clocking in at\u00a0 a 1:00.91. Kendall, who placed second the 50 fly just the day before, came back tonight to win the 100 by one second. Coming in behind her was Springfield\u2019s 16 year old <\/span>Kate McCarville<\/b> in a 1:01.91. Third place went to Aggie Swim Club\u2019s <\/span>Caroline Theil<\/b> with a 1:02.60. Unattached <\/span>Autumn Looney<\/b> (1:02.77), Splash Club\u2019s <\/span>Greta Olsen<\/b> (1:02.93), Kansas Swimming\u2019s <\/span>Elizabeth Amato-Hanner<\/b> (1:03.10), University of Arkansas\u2019 <\/span>Marlena Pigliacampi<\/b> (1:03.49), and Parkway\u2019s <\/span>Karisa Franz <\/b>(1:03.53) rounded out the top eight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 100 Fly\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finishing first for the men was Greater Omaha\u2019s 17 year old <\/span>Rush Clark <\/b>with a 54.90. Placing second after coming off his victory in the 100 fly the night before was Sooner Swim Club\u2019s 16 year old <\/span>Aiden Hayes<\/b> with a 55.34. Finishing third was Witchita\u2019s <\/span>Benjamin Patton<\/b> with a 55.63. Sarpy County\u2019s <\/span>Luke Barr<\/b> (56.08), American Energy\u2019s <\/span>William Ingram <\/b>and Parkway\u2019s <\/span>Noah Scheuermann<\/b> (56.31), Aquatic Club of Elkhorn\u2019s <\/span>Jason Schroeder <\/b>(56.60), and Sarpy County\u2019s <\/span>Thomas Lundin <\/b>(56.67) rounded out the men\u2019s top eight.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a close race, Club Husker\u2019s <\/span>Autumn Haebig<\/b> took home the gold in the women\u2019s 200 free with a 2:02.26. Just last night Haebig placed second in the 800 free. Right behind her was Swim Tulsa\u2019s <\/span>Liberty Howell <\/b>with a 2:02.29, who also placed second last night in the 100 free. American Energy\u2019s <\/span>Catherine Callahan<\/b> finished third with a 2:05.59. Completing the top eight was Club Husker\u2019s Allie Worrall (2:05.77), Fremont Area\u2019s <\/span>Zoe Thatcher<\/b> (2:05.83),\u00a0 Kansas Swimming\u2019s Claire Campbell (2:06.21), Club Husker\u2019s <\/span>Jessica Pentlarge<\/b> (2:06.63), and Fremont Area\u2019s <\/span>Eleni Kotzamanis <\/b>(2:07.40).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 200 Free\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coming off his win in the 100 free last night, Rockwood\u2019s <\/span>Jack Dolan<\/b> kept his streak going with the men\u2019s 200 free, touching the wall for first with a 1:52.34. Coming in second was American Energy\u2019s 16 years old <\/span>George Glover<\/b> with a 1:53.69. Finishing third was Missouri State\u2019s <\/span>Antonio Thomas<\/b> in a 1:54.09. Thomas won the 800 free just last night. Northwest Arkansas\u2019<\/span> Ryan Husband<\/b> (1:54.27), Fremont Area\u2019s <\/span>Carter Nelson<\/b> (1:54.74), Trident Aquatics\u2019 <\/span>Christopher Callan<\/b> (1:55.41), Fremont Area\u2019s <\/span>Aaron Kohler <\/b>(1:56.26), and Arkansas Dolphins\u2019 <\/span>Vincent Jaworski<\/b> (1:57.46) rounded out the top eight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 50 Breast\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Splash Club\u2019s <\/span>Katherine Steward<\/b> took home the gold in the last women\u2019s event of the night in a 32.61. It was a close race for second, which ended ultimately with American Energy\u2019s <\/span>Hanna Newby<\/b> placing second in a 32.72, and Greater Omaha\u2019s 16 year old <\/span>Jocelyn Randby<\/b> finishing third with a 32.73. Splash Club\u2019s <\/span>Haley Downey<\/b> (32.76), Springfield\u2019s <\/span>Olivia Mendenhall<\/b> (32.98), Springfield’s\u00a0<\/span>Aubree Brouwer<\/b> (33.69), Dart Frog Aquatics’\u00a0<\/span>Isabella Cothern<\/b> (33.76), and Lincoln Select’s\u00a0<\/span>Katie Stonehocker (<\/b>33.93) completed the top eight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 50 Breast\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Placing first in the final event of the night was Sarpy County\u2019s <\/span>Noah Barr<\/b> with a 28.29. Coming in second was Parkway\u2019s <\/span>Mark Franz<\/b>. The third place finisher was Kansas City Swim Academy\u2019s <\/span>Aleksei Hernandez-Nietling <\/b>with a 28.68. Greater Omaha Aquatics\u2019 <\/span>Conner Funke<\/b> (29.16), Kansas City Blazers\u2019 <\/span>Maxwell Boehnlein<\/b> (29.46), Sarpy County\u2019s <\/span>Luke Barr <\/b>(29.48),<\/span> Sooner Swim Club\u2019s <\/span>Alexander Stamatin<\/b> (29.61), and Lincoln Select\u2019s <\/span>Alexander Petty<\/b> (31.14) rounded out the final top eight of the night.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
