NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Hadley DeBruyn<\/strong> of Swarthmore, Penn., has verbally committed to the University of Pennsylvania and will join the Quakers in the fall of 2020.*<\/p>\n

DeBruyn, who owns a trio of Winter Juniors standards, does her club swimming with Suburban Seahawks Club and most recently placed 24th in the 500 free at NCSAs. Last summer, she finaled in four events at Middle Atlantic LCM Seniors before going on to earn a pair of best times at NCSAs. In 2015 while she was competing with Delaware Swim Team, she set an 11-12 NAG Record as a member of the 4×100 free relay.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Episcopal Academy, DeBruyn is a six-time Eastern Interscholastic League Championship finalist.\u00a0She placed fourth in both the 200 IM and 500 free as a junior after finishing third in the 200 free and second in the 100 back during her sophomore season. During her rookie campaign, the NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American earned gold in the 500 free and was the 200 IM runner-up.<\/p>\n
