The Sydney Morning Herald reports that as being &#8220;in excess of half a million dollars&#8221;.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The paper reports that &#8220;Australian swimming officials remain hopeful a last-gasp arrangement can be met but as it stands, there will be a broadcast blackout on local screens for the event in Gwangju, which represents the most-important meet of 2019 and is a key date ahead of next year&#8217;s Tokyo Games.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Seven Network has invested millions in swimming and has the rights to the sport in Australia until 2025, including the 2015 and 2017 World titles but not the 2019 and future editions. Meanwhile, <strong>Konstantin Grigorishin<\/strong> tells <em>The Daily Telegraph<\/em>&#8216; Saturday edition in Australia that the International Swimming League will host pro-team tour events in Australia in the future after the inaugural season of the series is done between October and December this year.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Grigorishin tells reporter <strong>Julian Linden<\/strong>: &#8220;If we had an Australian club, they would have to make 20 trips a year and that\u2019s too many. You always have to think of the swimmers first. So they should compete for the other clubs but I promise you we will organise a couple of matches in Australia each year and maybe the final and semi-finals as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Open water<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>The women&#8217;s 10km world-title race this Sunday in Gwangju will produce the first 10 Olympic qualifiers for the Marathon at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The men&#8217;s 10km unfolds Tuesday and the same will apply: the first 10 home will be the first to qualify for the 2020 Games. There are 25 spots up for grabs on the way to Tokyo, 1 man and 1 woman from Japan, the hosts of 2020, qualifying automatically.<\/p>\n<h3>Diving<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>China had a sweeping start to the diving events. <strong>Chen Yiwen<\/strong> and<strong> Chang Yan<\/strong> led the way to the final of the women&#8217;s 1m Springboard. The qualifiers and results <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fina.org\/competition-detailed-results\/18th-fina-world-championships-2019-women-1m-springboard\/event\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>, while <strong>Wang Zongyuan<\/strong> and <strong>Pengh Jianfeng<\/strong> led the way to the equivalent men&#8217;s final with qualifiers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fina.org\/competition-detailed-results\/18th-fina-world-championships-2019-men-1m-springboard\/event\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Artistic Swimming<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Svetlana Kolesnichenko<\/strong> led the way to the women&#8217;s solo technical final today in Gwangju.
