She will be conformed on Aug. 5 and take office on Aug. 12 for a four-year term and preside over the 2023 Pan American Games. The other four continental regions are LEN (Europe), Oceania (Australia and South Pacific countries), Asia, and Africa. Collectively, they each represent one of the five rings of the Olympic flag.\u00a0\u00a0Within each region, are federations that represent each country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Within Union Americana de Natacion, there are four regions, including the CONSANAT (South America), Aquatics Canada Aquatiques, United States Aquatic Sports (USAS) and CCCAN, which also held elections on class=\"western\">CCCAN President <strong>Felix Calderon<\/strong>, the incumbent, defeated challenger <strong>Lindsay Gillette<\/strong>, the current Trinidad &amp; Tobago president 29-21 votes. <strong>Errol Clarke<\/strong> was re-elected FINA Bureau member to represent CCCAN for 2017-2021 defeating challenger<strong> Juan Santiago Estrada<\/strong>, the President of Nicaragua, 31-19.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><strong>Algernon Cargill<\/strong> was elected to the FINA World at Large position to represent CCCAN defeating <strong>Juan Santiago Estrada<\/strong> 26-24.\u00a0 <strong>Cinthia M.<\/strong> Torres-Sanes of the United States Virgin Islands was elected CCCAN secretary and <strong>Sonia O&#8217;Neal<\/strong> of Barbados was elected CCCAN treasurer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><strong>Jaime Peterkin<\/strong> of St. Lucia was elected English speaking islands vice president, while <strong>Imaday Nunez Gonzalez<\/strong> was elected Spanish speaking islands
