He finished 15th in the 100 breast at YMCA Nationals in April and earned a trio of best times at the Winter Classic in December. Last summer, he placed fifth in the 100m breast, eighth in the 50m breast and 12th in the 200m breast at YMCA LCM Nationals.<\/p>\n<p>A rising senior at Downington STEM Academy, Doyle also competes for Downington East and has raced the 100 breast at the Pennsylvania 3A State Championships each of his high school seasons thus far. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American placed sixth in that event as a sophomore after taking ninth during his rookie campaign.<\/p>\n<p>He told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>\u201cI am thrilled to announce my commitment to swim and study Biology at Penn State University! I am so blessed to have the opportunity to develop as both a student and an athlete at such an amazing school. I would like to thank Coach Tim and the rest of the PSU coaches and swimmers for welcoming me into the family. I would also like to thank God, my family, friends, coaches, and teammates for their constant support throughout my career. We Are!!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 breast &#8211; 25.90<\/li>\n<li>100 breast &#8211; 56.87<\/li>\n<li>200 breast &#8211; 2:08.19<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 1:58.86<\/li>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 21.60<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Doyle will add valuable breaststroke depth to the Nittany Lions&#8217; roster when he arrives in State College as a member of the class of 2024.
