After a grueling four days of competition, the athletes exhibited resilience and grit, finishing strong in a stellar show of endurance. With an eclectic 14-event lineup, the country&#8217;s best athletes reconvened to honor Crippen with quite the finale, as this year&#8217;s legendary competition came to a close.<\/p>\n<p>Fran Crippen was a decorated American distance swimmer who transitioned to open water competitions in 2006. He tragically passed away in 2010 at age 26, leaving the swim community heartbroken. Since then, elite athletes from around the world have convened at an annual swim meet in his honor, an event that embodies Crippen to the fullest.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socalswim.org\/live-results\/2019MVNSMOC\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Live Results<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2019-fran-crippen-mission-viejo-meet-of-champions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Swimming World&#8217;s Fran Crippen Memorial Meet Page<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 100 Breast<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Annie Lazor <\/strong>turned heads once again, sending murmurs throughout the swim community about her Olympic potential. With a 1:06.72, Lazor reclaimed sprint breaststroke after losing to <strong>Breeja Larson<\/strong> (1:07.04) in the 50 last night. <strong>ShiWen Ye<\/strong> stroked in at third with a 1:07.69, putting distance between herself and <strong>Isabell Odgers<\/strong> (1:10.31).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ran Suo<\/strong> conceded fourth by a narrow margin, clocking in at 1:10.47 ahead of <strong>Emma Weber<\/strong> (1:10.71). <strong>Ellie Jew<\/strong> and Maggie <strong>Aroesty<\/strong> rounded out the championship final with times of 1:11.28 and 1:11.63, respectively.<\/p>\n<pre><b>Event 29
