She won just ahead of fellow Italian\u00a0<strong>Elena Di Liddo\u00a0<\/strong>(57.51). Both swimmers were under their season best times as they moved into the top eight in the world for 2019. The time took down fellow Hungarian\u00a0<strong>Tamas Kenderesi&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>1:54.33 from 2017 in the process. Milak finished a full second ahead of Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Federico Burdisso\u00a0<\/strong>(1:55.21) and 2017 World Champion\u00a0<strong>Chad Le Clos\u00a0<\/strong>(1:55.48) of South Africa. Milak still has the fastest time in the world for 2019 with his 1:53.19 from March.<\/p>\n<p>Burdisso was also a 1:54.64 in April as he sits fifth in the world rankings for 2019. Le Clos did have a season best with his swim as he moved up to seventh in the world rankings. Andrew is now the third fastest (tied) American this year behind <strong>Ryan Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>(52.99) and\u00a0<strong>Matt Grevers\u00a0<\/strong>(53.09). He is tied with\u00a0<strong>Jacob Pebley\u00a0<\/strong>(53.40) for ninth in the world rankings for 2019. The win instead went to fellow Hungarian\u00a0<strong>Zszusanna Jakabos\u00a0<\/strong>(4:38.89). Hosszu originally touched first in 4:33.31, which was right off her 4:33.06 season best. Seto was able to put up the world&#8217;s fastest time in the event as he previously held the quickest time at 4:09.25 from January. He was just off the meet record of 4:07.47 by <strong>David Verraszto\u00a0<\/strong>from 2017. Seto also lowered his own personal best of 4:07.99 from the same Sette Colli meet in 2017 when Verraszto went that meet record.<\/p>\n<p>He is now well in front of <strong>Max Litchfield\u00a0<\/strong>(4:10.94) in the world rankings and is looking to win the World title back this summer that he lost from American\u00a0<strong>Chase Kalisz\u00a0<\/strong>in 2017. Seto was the World Champion in 2013 and 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Verraszto finished in second place tonight in Rome with a 4:11.90. He was able to lower his season best of 4:12.65 from March as he sits third in the world for 2019. Blume swam a 53.44 to win ahead of veterans\u00a0<strong>Femke Heemskerk\u00a0<\/strong>(53.54) and\u00a0<strong>Federica Pellegrini\u00a0<\/strong>(53.66). Blume was right at her season best of 53.40 from the FINA Champions Series in Budapest. Pellegrini&#8217;s time is a season best for her as she was a 53.72 in April. Correia out-touched\u00a0fellow Brazilian\u00a0<strong>Marcelo Chierighini\u00a0<\/strong>(48.55) in the process. The Italian finished ahead of Brazil&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jhennifer Conceicao\u00a0<\/strong>(30.54) and fellow Italian\u00a0<strong>Martina Carraro\u00a0<\/strong>(30.62) in the event on Saturday at the 2019 Sette Colli Trophy in Rome. Pilato now sits third in the world rankings behind\u00a0<strong>Lilly King\u00a0<\/strong>(29.63) and\u00a0<strong>Yulia Efimova <\/strong>(29.93).<\/p>\n<p>Pilato was a 30.61 in April and lowered her best time to win in Rome. Peaty was just off his 26.49 best time from April as he sits third in the world for 2019. He was in a close race on Saturday with Brazil&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Felipe Lima\u00a0<\/strong>(26.61) and\u00a0<strong>Joao Gomes\u00a0<\/strong>(26.68). Quadarella swam an 8:21.20 to lower her season best from 8:25.55 in April. Quadarella finished four seconds ahead of Hungary&#8217;s <strong>Ajna Kesely\u00a0<\/strong>(8:25.29) in second as Kesely moved up to seventh in the world rankings.
