The men competed in the 200 IM, 50 back, 50 free and the 800 free relay. <strong>Daniel Hunter<\/strong> broke his own\u00a0New Zealand Open Record in the 50 free. <strong>Erika Fairweather<\/strong> was within a development consideration time to qualify for\u00a0World Championships\u00a0and is a\u00a0New Zealand 15 Years Age Record.<strong> Brad Ashby\u00a0<\/strong>qualified for\u00a0World Championships\u00a0in the\u00a0Men\u2019s 200m IM. <strong>Taiko Torepe-Ormsby<\/strong> broke the\u00a0New Zealand 15 years Age Record in the 50 back. <strong>Ciara Smith<\/strong>\u00a0broke the\u00a0New Zealand 18 Years Age Record\u00a0in the Women\u2019s 200m breast.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 200 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Erika Fairweather<\/strong> of Neptune Swim Club touched first with a time of 1:59.37. It was Fairweather&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2019-new-zealand-swimming-championships-erika-fairweather-qualifies-for-fina-world-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">second win of the meet<\/a> after winning the 400 free on night three. In second was <strong>Carina Doyle<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time of 2:00.27. In third was<strong> Chelsey Edwards<\/strong> of Capital Swim Club with a time 2:02.07. <strong>Eve Thomas<\/strong> of Coast Swimming Club was fourth with a time of 2:02.60. In fifth was <strong>Gina McCarthy<\/strong> of Hillcrest Swim Club with a time of 2:03.17. <strong>Caitlin Deans<\/strong> of Neptune Swim Club with a time of 2:04.31. In seventh was <strong>Ali Galyer<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time of 2:04.45. In eighth was <strong>Ruby Heath<\/strong> of Capital Swim Club 2:04.69.<\/p>\n<h2>Men\u2019s 200 IM<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Bradlee Ashby<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club touched first with a time of 1:59.60 at the New Zealand Swimming Championships. Ashby was able to qualify for the World Championships in four weeks. In second was<strong> Luan Grobbelaar<\/strong> of Kiwi West Aquatics with a time of 2:02.69. \u00a0In third was <strong>Jonathan Rutter<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time of 2:03.13. <strong>Wilrich Coetzee<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club touched fourth with a time of 2:03.17. In fifth was <strong>Callum Prime<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time of 2:05.36. In sixth was <strong>Jeremy Tasker<\/strong> of North Canterbury Swim Club Inc with a time of 2:06.60. \u00a0<strong>Talon Lindquist<\/strong> of Kodiak KingFishers touched in seventh with a time of 2:08.22. In eighth was <strong>Jiahao Gong<\/strong> of Shanghai Swimming Team with a time of 2:10.82<em>. <\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 100 Fly<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Helena Gasson<\/strong> of Coast Swimming Club touched first with a time of 1:00.56 at the New Zealand Swimming Championships. In a tie for second was <strong>Olivia Collins<\/strong> of St Peter&#8217;s Western and <strong>Hannah Bates<\/strong> of Aquagym Swimming Club with a time of 1:01.38 . In third was <strong>Vanessa Ouwehand<\/strong> of Phoenix Aquatics with a time of 1:01.46. In fifth was <strong>Paige Schendelaar-Kemp<\/strong> of Howick Pakuranga with a time of 1:02.20. \u00a0<strong>Kiana Swain<\/strong> of Pukekohe Swimming Club touched sixth with a time of 1:02.54. \u00a0In seventh was<strong> Tori McTeigue<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time of 1:02.61. Rounding out the heat was <strong>Alice Waldow<\/strong> of United Swimming Club with a time of 1:02.67.<\/p>\n<h2>Men\u2019s 50 Back<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Andrew Jeffcoat<\/strong> of Pukekohe Swimming Club with a time of 25.36. In second was <strong>Kane Follows<\/strong> of Mt Eden Swimming with a time of 25.78. In third was <strong>Zac Dell<\/strong> of Pukekohe Swimming Club with a time of 25.92. In fourth was <strong>Jack Anderson<\/strong> of United Swimming Club with a time of 26.23. In fifth was<strong> Jason Churches<\/strong> of Parnell Swimming with a time 26.38. In sixth was <strong>Taiko Torepe-Ormsby<\/strong> of Wharenui Swim Club with a time of 26.43. In seventh was <strong>Da Luo<\/strong> of Shanghai Swimming Team with a time of 26.55.
