The nigh consisted of the following events for the women: 200 IM, 100 back and the 400 free. The men competed in the 400 free, 100 fly, 50 breast and 200 back\u00a0 <strong>Erika Fairweather<\/strong> made the FINA A qualification time for the 2019 FINA World Championships later this summer as a 15 year old. Mathew Holder broke the 18 year of age record for the men&#8217;s 50 breast. <strong>Gina Galloway<\/strong> also broke the 18 year of age record for the women&#8217;s 100 back.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 400 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Zac Reid<\/strong> of Aquabladz New Plymouth Swimming was first in a time of 3:50.61 to start off night three of the 2019 New Zealand Swimming Championships. In second was <strong>Lane Stone<\/strong> of Aquagym Swimming Club in a time of 3:55.65. In third was <strong>Quinton Hurley<\/strong> of Jasi Swim Club with a time of 3:57.59. <strong>Matt Hyde<\/strong> of Matamata Swim Club followed in fourth with a time of 3:58.04. In fifth was<strong> John Clark<\/strong> of Whakatane Swimming Club in a time of 4:02.40.<strong> Louis Clark<\/strong> of Aquagym Swimming Club finished sixth with a time of 4:02.82. In seventh was <strong>Riley Taylor<\/strong> of Swim Timaru in a time of 4:06.14. <strong>Joseph Stewart<\/strong> of Pirates Swim Team rounded out the heat with a time of 4:07.44.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 200 IM<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Helena Gasson<\/strong> of Coast Swimming Club touched first with a time of 2:15.20. <strong>Hannah Bates<\/strong> of Aquagym Swimming Club followed with a time of 2:18.34. In a tie for third, was <strong>Ella Ramsay<\/strong> of St Peter&#8217;s Western and <strong>Gina McCarthy<\/strong> of Hillcrest Swim Club with times of 2:18.95. In fifth was <strong>Mya Rasmussen<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time of 2:22.19. <strong>Katie Strachan<\/strong> of St Peter&#8217;s Western touched sixth with a time of 2:23.74. In seventh was <strong>Tyler Finau<\/strong> of Enterprise Swim Club in a time of 2:27.25. In eighth was <strong>Nikki Chapman<\/strong> of Howick Pakuranga with a time of 2:27.55.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 100 Fly<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Bradlee Ashby<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club was victorious with a time of 53.75 at the 2019 New Zealand Swimming Championships. In a tie for second was <strong>&#8216;aukai Lileikis<\/strong> of Hawaiian Swimming and <strong>Wilrich Coetzee<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with time of 54.60. In another tie, but for third, was <strong>Zhou Wang<\/strong> of Shanghai Swimming Team and<strong> Ben Littlejohn<\/strong> of St Paul&#8217;s Swimming Club with times of 54.77. In sixth was <strong>Chris Dawson<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club in a time of 54.85. In seventh was <strong>Ben Carr<\/strong> of Neptune Swim Club in a time of 55.19. In eighth was <strong>Corey Main<\/strong> of Howick Pakuranga with a time of 55.25.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 100 Back<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Gina Galloway<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club touched first with a time of 1:01.47. In second was <strong>Ali Galyer<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time of 1:01.73. <strong>Gabrielle Fa&#8217;amausili<\/strong> of United Swimming Club was third with a time of 1:02.16. In fourth was<strong> Emma Godwin<\/strong> of Heretaunga Sundevils with a time of 1:02.53. In fifth was <strong>Cassie Wright<\/strong> of Qeii Swim Club with a time of 1:03.06. <strong>Paige Flynn<\/strong> of St Peter&#8217;s Swimming Club touched sixth with a time of 1:03.23. In seventh was <strong>Karolina Hajkova<\/strong> of Vskuk Bratislava, Slovakia with a time of 1:03.50. In eighth was <strong>Kyla Alexander<\/strong> of United Swimming Club with a time of 1:03.92.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 50 Breast<\/h2>\n<p>In a tie for third was<strong> Adam Kealiher<\/strong> of Punahou Aquatics Institute and <strong>Matthew Holder<\/strong> of Phoenix Aquatics with a time of 28.67. In second was <strong>Eliot Lundon-Moore<\/strong> of Capital Swim Club with a time of 28.71. In third was <strong>Josh Pickett<\/strong> of Matamata Swim Club with a time 28.94. In fifth was <strong>Zarhn Collins<\/strong> of Aquabladz New Plymouth Swimming with a time of 29.10. In sixth was <strong>Taichi Vakasama<\/strong> of Fiji Swimming with a time of 29.12. In seventh was <strong>Julian Layton<\/strong> of Heretaunga Sundevils with a time of 29.20. In eighth was <strong>Josh Gilbert<\/strong> of Evolution Aquatics Tauranga with a time of 29.21.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 400 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Erika Fairweather<\/strong> of Neptune Swim Club with a time of 4:09.33 at the 2019 New Zealand Swimming Championships. She secured a spot on the World Championships team to compete in Gwangju in a month. In second was <strong>Eve Thomas<\/strong> of Coast Swimming Club with a time of 4:11.74. In third was <strong>Carina Doyle<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time 4:12.38. In fourth was <strong>Caitlin Deans<\/strong> of Neptune Swim Club with a time of 4:18.65. In fifth was<strong> Hayley McIntosh<\/strong> of Phoenix Aquatics with a time of 4:19.06. In sixth was <strong>Monique King<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time of 4:23.20.
