The men competed in the following events: 200 breast, 50 fly, 200 free and the 400 medley relay. Several records fell as well. <strong>Tyron Henry<\/strong>\u00a0broke the\u00a0New Zealand\u00a017 Years Age Record for the 200 free. <strong>Cameron Gray<\/strong> broke the New Zealand 15 Years Age Record in the B Final of the 50 Butterfly\u00a0with a time of\u00a025.09 seconds. <strong>Ciara Smith <\/strong>broke the 18 Years Age Record for the 50 breast. <strong>Luan Grobbelaar<\/strong> broke his own 17 Years Age Record in the 200 Breaststroke.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/swimming.org.nz\/visageimages\/Major%20Events\/2019\/2019%20Aon%20NZ%20Opens\/session%20four%20results%20-%20finals.pdf\">Day Two Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 400 IM<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Gina McCarthy<\/strong> of Hillcrest Swim Club touched first with a time of 4:52.62. In second was <strong>Mya Rasmussen<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time of 4:56.53. In a tie for third was <strong>Ella Ramsay<\/strong> of St Peter&#8217;s Western and <strong>Ciara Smith<\/strong> of Northwave Swim Club with a time of 5:00.08. In fifth was <strong>Madison Wills<\/strong> of Kiwi Asc with a time of 5:07.30. <strong>Tyler Finau<\/strong> of Enterprise Swim Club followed with a time of 5:08.13. In seventh was <strong>Nikki Chapman<\/strong> of Howick Pakuranga with a time of 5:11.71. In eighth was <strong>Lucy North<\/strong> of Aquabladz New Plymouth Swimming with a time of 5:14.66.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 200 Breast<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Julian Layton<\/strong> of Heretaunga Sundevils was victorious with a time of 2:12.45 at the New Zealand Swimming Championships. In second was <strong>Luan Grobbelaar<\/strong> of Kiwi West Aquatics with a time of 2:16.19.\u00a0 Tied for third was <strong>Taichi Vakasama<\/strong> of Fiji Swimming and <strong>Eliot Lundon-Moore<\/strong> of Capital Swim Club with a time of 2:16.40. In fifth was <strong>Jiahao Gong<\/strong> of Shanghai Swimming Team with a time of 2:18.54. <strong>Bailey Wang<\/strong> of Phoenix Aquatics was sixth with a time of 2:20.25. <strong>Zarhn Collins<\/strong> of Aquabladz New Plymouth Swimming followed with a time of 2:20.91. <strong>Josh Gilbert<\/strong> of Evolution Aquatics Tauranga rounded out the top eight with a time of 2:21.91.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 50 Fly<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Bayley Main<\/strong> of\u00a0 Howick Pakuranga out touched the heat with a time of 24.26 at the New Zealand Swimming Championships. In a tie for second was <strong>\u00a0Aukai Lileikis<\/strong> of Hawaiian Swimming and <strong>Ollie Rayner<\/strong> of North Canterbury Swim Club Inc with a time of 24.68. In third was <strong>Carter Swift<\/strong> of Hawera Swimming Club with a time of 24.73. <strong>Luke Gebbie<\/strong> of Philippine Swimming was fifth with a time of 24.81. In sixth was <strong>Chris Dawson<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club with a time of 24.89. In seventh was<strong> Christopher Elson<\/strong> of Wharenui Swim Club in a time of 25.10.\u00a0 In eighth was <strong>Ben Littlejohn<\/strong> of St Paul&#8217;s Swimming Club in a time of 25.34.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 50 Breast<\/h2>\n<p>In a tie for the gold medal was <strong>Jessica Erikson<\/strong> of Sweden and <strong>Ciara Smith<\/strong> of Northwave Swim Club in a time of 32.33. In second was <strong>Kaylee Jackson<\/strong> of Jasi Swim Club in a time of 32.70. <strong>Bronagh Ryan<\/strong> of Capital Swim Club was third with a time of 33.11.<strong> Melissa Cowen<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club was fifth in a time of 33.20. <strong>Mikayla Dance<\/strong> of United Swimming Club was sixth with a time of 33.44. In seventh was <strong>Kirsten Fisher-Marsters<\/strong> of\u00a0 Howick Pakuranga with a time of 34.28. <strong>Emma Dick<\/strong> of Aquagym Swimming Club rounded out the top eight with a time of 34.67.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 200 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Lewis Clareburt<\/strong> of Capital Swim Club won the event with a time of 1:48.11 at the New Zealand Swimming Championships. In second was <strong>Matthew Stanley<\/strong> of Matamata Swim Club with a time of 1:48.34. In third was <strong>Daniel Hunter<\/strong> of Howick Pakuranga with a time of 1:49.13. In fourth was <strong>Zac Reid<\/strong> of Aquabladz New Plymouth Swimming with a time of 1:49.41. <strong>Lane Stone<\/strong> of Aquagym Swimming Club followed with a time of 1:49.67. <strong>Jonathan Rutter<\/strong> of North Shore Swimming Club was sixth with a time of 1:50.08. <strong>Andrew Jeffcoat<\/strong> of Pukekohe Swimming Club was seventh with a time of 1:50.53. In eighth was <strong>Tyron Henry<\/strong> of Howick Pakuranga with a time of 1:51.20.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 200 Fly<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Kiana Swain<\/strong> of Pukekohe Swimming Club was victorious with a time of 2:17.28. <strong>Jenna Rolston-Larking<\/strong> of Capital Swim Club followed in second place with a time of 2:17.71. In third was <strong>Naia Anderson<\/strong> of Mt Maunganui Swimming Club with a time of 2:18.94. In fourth was <strong>Jessica Scott <\/strong>of\u00a0Neptune Swim Club with a time of 2:20.81. Touching fifth was <strong>Katlyn Steedman<\/strong> of Pukekohe Swimming Club with a time of 2:21.44. In sixth was <strong>Sarah Miller<\/strong> of St Paul&#8217;s Swimming Club with a time of 2:24.60. In seventh was <strong>Grace Baik<\/strong> of United Swimming Club with a time of 2:26.54. Touching in eighth was <strong>Katie Helm<\/strong> of Tawa Swimming Club with a time of 2:27.34.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 400 Medley Relay<\/h2>\n<p>In first was <strong>North Shore Swimming Club<\/strong> in a time of 3:43.70 with the team of <strong>Bradlee Ashby, Jonathan Rutter, Chris Dawson and Wilrich Coetzee.<\/strong> In second was <strong>Capital Swim Club<\/strong> in a time of 3:43.90. Tying for third was <strong>Shanghai Swimming Team<\/strong> and <strong>Howick Pakuranga<\/strong> in a time of 3:48.95.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 400 Medley Relay<\/h2>\n<p>In first was <strong>North Shore Swimming Club<\/strong> in a time of 4:13.96 with their team of<strong> Ali Galyer, Melissa Cowen, Tori McTeigue and Carina Doyle<\/strong>.
