Cruising to first with a time of 15:19.80 was <strong>David Aubry<\/strong> of France. <strong>Damien Joly<\/strong> got to the wall second at a 15:20.39.<\/p>\n<p>In third with a time of 15:25.60 was <strong>Paul Beaugand<\/strong>. <strong>Clement Batte<\/strong> placed fourth (15:36.26). Breaking up the french field was <strong>Ahmed-Ayoub Hafnaoui<\/strong> of Tunisia finishing fifth with a time of 15:51.86. <strong>Jakob Goodman<\/strong> of Great Britain finished sixth (16:15.09).<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 50m Butterfly A Final<\/h3>\n<p>It was <strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> of the Netherlands who got to the wall first in the women&#8217;s 50 fly with a time of 26.12. Not far behind her was <strong>Marie Wattel<\/strong> of France and <strong>Holly Baratt<\/strong> of Australia. Both touched with a time of 26.17, tying for second.<\/p>\n<p>In fourth with a time of 26.23 was <strong>Jeanette Ottesen<\/strong> of Denmark.<\/p>\n<p>Taking fifth in the event with a time of 26.36 was <strong>Maaike Waard<\/strong> of\u00a0the Netherlands. In sixth (26.48) was <strong>Melanie Henique<\/strong> of France. <strong>Kim Busch<\/strong> of the Netherlands touched seventh (26.67) with <strong>Lena Bousquin<\/strong> of France finishing eighth (27.09).<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 50m Freestyle A Final<\/h3>\n<p>Taking first in the A final of the men&#8217;s 50m free was\u00a0<strong>Marcelo Chierighini<\/strong> of Brazil. He finished with a time of 22.32. In second was <strong>Jesse Puts<\/strong> from the Netherlands. Puts finished a close 22.38.\u00a0<strong>Maxime Grousset <\/strong>finished third with a time of 22.42<\/p>\n<p>Tying for fourth and finishing with a time of 22.44 was\u00a0<strong>Clement Mignon <\/strong>of France and <strong>Pedro Spajari<\/strong> of Brazil.\u00a0The two finished with a time of 22.44.<\/p>\n<p>Close to making it a three-way tie was <strong>Gabriel Santos<\/strong>\u00a0of Brazil finishing sixth with a 22.45.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oussama Sahnoune<\/strong>\u00a0of Algeria finished seventh with a time of 22.57 while <strong>Yonel Govindin<\/strong> of France finished eighth (22.74).<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 200m Freestyle A Final<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Breno Correia<\/strong> of Brazil cruised to first in the A final of the men&#8217;s 200m free. He finished with a time of 1:47.83.<\/p>\n<p>A close second and third went to <strong>Davide Casarin<\/strong> of Italy and <strong>Jack McMillan<\/strong> of Ireland. Casarin finished at 1:49.73 with McMillan finishing at 1:49.83. Just out of the 1:40 range and finishing fourth with a time of 1:50.16 was <strong>Jonathan Atsu<\/strong> of France. <strong>Mehdi Lagili<\/strong> of Tunisia finished fifth (1:50.46). In sixth (1:50.66) was <strong>Stan-Johanes Pijnenburg<\/strong> of the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>A close seventh (1:51.28) and eighth (1:51.35) went to <strong>Roman Fuchs<\/strong> and <strong>Alexandre Derache<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 50m Breaststroke A Final<\/h3>\n<p>Finishing under 31 to win the A final of the women&#8217;s 50m breast was <strong>Jhennifer Conceicao<\/strong> of Brazil. She finished with a time of 30.84.<\/p>\n<p>Getting to the wall next with a time of 31.48 was <strong>Rosey Metz<\/strong> of the Netherlands. Teammate <strong>Yes Schouten<\/strong> finished third (31.58).<\/p>\n<p><strong>A close fourth and fifth went to Lisa Mamie<\/strong>\u00a0Switzerland and<strong> Cornelia Pammer <\/strong>of Austria\u00a0Mamie finished fourth (31.82) while Pammer took fifth (31.85).<\/p>\n<p>Finishing sixth with a time of 32.20 was <strong>Pamela Alencar<\/strong> of Brazil. <strong>Matilde Schroeder<\/strong> of Denmark finished seventh (32.38) with <strong>Fanny Deberghes<\/strong> finished eighth (32.41).<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100m Breaststroke A Final<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Arno Kamminga <\/strong>of the Netherlands posted a sub-minute 100m breaststroke today to finish first in the A final. He finished at a 59.72. Placing second with a time of 1:00.58 was<strong> Joao Gomes Jr.<\/strong> of Brazil. <strong>Darragh Greene<\/strong> of Ireland finished third (1:00.69).<\/p>\n<p>All in the 101 range were <strong>Tobias B. Bjerg<\/strong> of Denmark finishing fourth (101.33), <strong>Zaccaria Casna<\/strong> of Italy placing fifth (101.61) and Theo Bussiere of France taking sixth (101.88).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marco Koch <\/strong>of Germany got to the wall seventh (102.41) with <strong>Jeremy Desplanches<\/strong> of Switzerland placing eighth (102.74).<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 400m IM A Final<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Hannah Miley<\/strong> of Great Britain cruised to first in the A final of the women&#8217;s 400m IM. She finished over 10 seconds ahead of the field with a time of 4:46.14.<\/p>\n<p>Touching second with a time of 4:58.15 was <strong>Anna Fave<\/strong> of France. The rest of the field was also dominated by the french. <strong>Name Horter<\/strong> finished third with a time of 4:58.53.<strong> Lilou Ressencourt<\/strong> finished fourth (5:01.88).<\/p>\n<p>In fifth with a time of 5:04.11 was <strong>Alexander Cormier<\/strong>. Sixth (5:07.03) went to<strong> Lucile Mouret.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Alexia Saurel<\/strong> finished seventh (5:09.25) while <strong>Noah Bondouy<\/strong> placed eighth (5:13.11).<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100m Butterfly A Final<\/h3>\n<p>Up next in today&#8217;s lineup was the A final of the men&#8217;s 100 fly. Taking the event with a time of 51.44 was <strong>Mehdy Metella<\/strong> of France. Dutch teammates <strong>Mathys Goosen<\/strong> and <strong>Nyls Korstanje<\/strong> finished a close second and third. Goosen finished second (53.60) with korstanje taking third (53.62).<\/p>\n<p>Next to the wall was <strong>Jacob Peters<\/strong> of Great Britain, finishing fourth with a time of 54.24. Taking fifth (54.62) and sixth (54.68) were <strong>Flavien Aubry<\/strong> and <strong>Nicholas Vermorel<\/strong> of France.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ramon Klenz<\/strong> of Germany finished seventh (54.81) with <strong>France&#8217;s Pierre Henry Arrenous<\/strong> just out of the 54 range placing eighth (55.08).<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100 Backstroke A Final<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Kira Toussaint<\/strong> of the Netherlands finished under the minute mark in the A final of the women&#8217;s 100 back. She won the event with a time of 59.91. Finishing less than a second later and finishing second was <strong>Laura Riedemann<\/strong> of Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The only woman finishing at the 1:01 mark was <strong>Mie Oestergaard Nielsen<\/strong> of Denmark. She placed third (1:01.45). All finishing in the 1:02 range were <strong>Mathilde Cini<\/strong> of France (1:02.16), <strong>Lila Touili<\/strong> of France (1:02.43) and <strong>Maaike Waard<\/strong> of the Netherlands taking sixth (1:02.48).<\/p>\n<p>Placing seventh in the event with a time of 1:04.09 was <strong>Holly Barratt<\/strong> of Australia. <strong>Louise Lefebvre<\/strong> finished eighth (1:04.80).<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 50m Backstroke A Final<\/h3>\n<p>It was a close A final of the men&#8217;s 50m backstroke with the top five finishing at the 25 mark. <strong>Jeremy Stavius<\/strong> of France got his hand to the wall first with a time of 25.09.\u00a0Placing second with a time of 25.38 was <strong>Shane Ryan<\/strong> of Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Tying for third with a time of 25.66 were French teammates <strong>Bernhad Reitshammer<\/strong> and <strong>Yohann Ndoye Brouard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Finishing a close fifth behind them with a time of 25.69 was <strong>Stanislas Huille.<\/strong> Sixth (26.10) went to <strong>Paul-Gabriel Bedel<\/strong>, <strong>Pierre-Yves<\/strong> placed seventh (26.29) and <strong>Ladislas Salczer<\/strong> finished eighth (27.03).<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200m Butterfly A Final<\/h3>\n<p>Italy&#8217;s <strong>Aurora Petronio<\/strong> won today&#8217;s A final of the women&#8217;s 200m fly with a time of 2:12.66. Behind her was <strong>Fantine Lesfafre<\/strong>\u00a0of France touching second with a time of 2:13.33.<\/p>\n<p>Winner of the women&#8217;s 400m IM A final <strong>Hannah Miley<\/strong> placed third in this event, respectively. She finished with a time of 2:14.58. <strong>Alice Aubry<\/strong> of France finished fourth with a time of 2:17.68.<\/p>\n<p>A second separated <strong>Sarah Oualid Girard<\/strong> and <strong>Sarah\u00a0Moreau<\/strong>. Oualid Girard placed fifth (2:21.74) while Moreau finished sixth (2:22.75).<\/p>\n<p>Finishing seventh in the event with a time of 2:23.39 was <strong>Naome Horter<\/strong>. <strong>Valentine Jeanneret<\/strong> took eighth (2:23.85).<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 200m IM A Final<\/h3>\n<p>Taking an easy victory in the A final of the men&#8217;s 200m IM was <strong>Jeremy Desplanches <\/strong>of Switzerland. He got to the wall at a 1:58.06. Finishing second with a time of 2:01.83 was<strong> Raphael Stacchiotti<\/strong>\u00a0of Luxembourg. Third (2:02.31) went to <strong>Giovanni Sorriso<\/strong> of Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Both in the 2:03 range were <strong>Theo Berry<\/strong> and <strong>Geoffrey Renard<\/strong> of France. Berry finished fourth (2:03.59) with Regard taking fifth (2:03.90).<\/p>\n<p>Placing sixth in the event was <strong>James Mcfazden<\/strong> of Great Britain. He finished with a time of 2:04.39.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arjan Knipping<\/strong> of the Netherlands and <strong>Sebastian Steffan<\/strong> finished seventh (2:04.51) and eighth (2:04.53).<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 400m Freestyle A Final<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Joanna Desbordes<\/strong> of France took first today in the women&#8217;s 400m freestyle. She won A final with a time of 4:17.48. Finishing second at 4:20 flat was Mika Heideyer of France.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nolwenn Nunes<\/strong> and <strong>Cyrielle Duhamel<\/strong> both finished in the 4:20 range as well. Nunes finished third (4:20.48) while Duhamel took fourth (4:20.94).<\/p>\n<p>Finishing nearly 10 seconds later and finishing fifth with a time of 4:30.72 was <strong>Alexia Laurel.<\/strong> Placing sixth with a time of 4:34.05 was <strong>Orlane Hita<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200m Breaststroke A Final<\/h3>\n<p>It was <strong>Camille Dauba<\/strong> of France who won the A final of the women&#8217;s 200m breast. She got to the wall first with a time of 2:26.94.<\/p>\n<p>A close second (2:28.68) and third (2:28.90) went to <strong>Lisa Mamie<\/strong> of SUI and <strong>Kayla Van Der Merwe<\/strong> of Great Britain. Placing fourth with a time of 2:29.64 was <strong>Fanny Deberghes<\/strong> of France.<\/p>\n<p>Just out of the 2:29 mark was <strong>Fantine Lesaffre<\/strong> finishing fifth with a time of 2:30.06. Sixth (2:30.87) went to <strong>Lucie Delmas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Swimming again and placing seventh with a time of 2:31.16 was <strong>Hannah Miley<\/strong>. <strong>Pamela Alencar<\/strong> of Brazil finished eighth (2:32.61).<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 200m Backstroke A Final<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Leonardo De Deus<\/strong> of Brazil got his hand to the wall first, winning the A final of the men&#8217;s 200m back with a time of 1:58.03. Following him in the two minute mark was <strong>Maxence Orange<\/strong> of France finishing with a time of 2:00.93.<\/p>\n<p>In third place with a time of 2:01.28 was <strong>Lorenzo Mora<\/strong> of Italy. Behind him was <strong>Antoine Herlem<\/strong> finishing fourth (2:03.19) and<strong> Aymeric Roignant<\/strong> placing fifth (2:03.74).<\/p>\n<p>Coming in sixth place was <strong>Conor Ferguson<\/strong> with a time of 2:04.19. Close behind him was <strong>Ladislas Salczer<\/strong> finishing seventh with a time of 2:04.23.\u00a0<strong>Pierre Bouchon<\/strong> finished eighth (2:09.12).<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100m Freestyle A Final<\/h3>\n<p>It was a close A final of the women&#8217;s 100m free. Finishing things off was a close race between <strong>Charlotte Bonnet<\/strong> of France and <strong>Femke Heemskerk<\/strong> of the Netherlands. Bonnet finished first with a time of 54.17 with Heemskerk finishing second at a 54.19.<\/p>\n<p>A close third went to <strong>Beryl Gastaldello<\/strong> of France. She finished with a time of 54.32. Placing fourth from the Netherlands with a time of 54.70 was <strong>Ranomi Komowidjojo.<\/strong> Close behind was <strong>Marie Wattel<\/strong> of France taking fifth with a time of 54.74.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kim Busch<\/strong> of the Netherlands placed sixth in the event with a time of 55.05. <strong>Marjolein Delno<\/strong> finished seventh (55.44) while <strong>Assia Touati<\/strong> took eighth (56.10).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Olivia Wile, Swimming World Intern.
