Sydney Pickrem<\/strong> out-swam Mexico’s Melissa Rodriguez<\/strong> in the 200 breast to pick up her third win of the week at the 2019 TYR Pro Swim Series Clovis.<\/p>\n

Women’s 200 Breaststroke<\/h2>\n

Canada’s Sydney Pickrem<\/strong> picked up her third win of the week in the 200 breaststroke. Her time of 2:25.52 was off her worldwide sixth-ranked 2:22.63, but was still enough for the win in Clovis.<\/p>\n

Pickrem held the lead throughout the race, but was heavily challenged by Mexico’s Melissa Rodriguez<\/strong> in 2:25.54. Rodriguez was narrowly out-splitting Pickrem on the back half, but ran out of room to run her down. Her teammate Esther Gonzalez Medina<\/strong> was third in 2:29.44.<\/p>\n

Breeja Larson<\/strong> put up the fourth-place time of 2:30.78. Abigail Herscu<\/strong> (2:33.97), Mackenzie Duarte<\/strong> (2:35.21), Erika Seltenreich-Hodgson<\/strong> (2:35.46) and Hillary Metcalfe<\/strong> (2:35.73) rounded out the heat.<\/p>\n
