Matt Grevers<\/strong> added yet another win to his resume this season after taking the men’s 100 backstroke at the 2019 TYR Pro Swim Series Clovis.<\/p>\n

Men’s 100 Backstroke<\/h2>\n

After taking second in the 50 Backstroke on night two, Matt Grevers<\/strong> posted a solid time to win the 100 Backstroke (53.59). Out in 26.11, he was able to hold off Justin Ress<\/strong> who took second in 54.25.<\/p>\n

Grevers’ season-best is 53.09, while Ress took two tenths off of his. The men sit second and seventh in the American ranks this season.<\/p>\n

Canada’s Markus Thormeyer<\/strong> was third in 54.50 followed closely by Dylan Carter<\/strong> in 54.72. Chris Staka<\/strong> (55.83), Luca Urlando<\/strong> (56.82), Kristofer Rogic<\/strong> (56.93) and Andy Song<\/strong> (56.96) took fifth through eighth.<\/p>\n
