NEW COMMIT: <\/strong>The\u00a0Indiana University Hoosiers have been handed a new verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 from Mary Kate Reicherter<\/strong> of Arlington, Va.<\/p>\n

Primarily a backstroker, Reicherter swims year-round with Arlington Aquatic Club and most recently recorded a best time in the 200 back at NCSAs after placing fourth in the 400 IM at the Potomac Valley SCY Championships. She competed in both backstroke events at Juniors East in December and raced six events at NCSAs last summer.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Yorktown High School, Reicherter is a four-time Virginia 6A State Championship finalist.\u00a0The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American placed fifth in the 100 back and ninth in the 200 IM as a junior after earning bronze in the former event during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
