Team USA trailed early on, down 2-0 and 3-1 before coming back for the victory. <strong><dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/usawaterpolo.org\/roster.aspx?rp_id=97\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener smarttag noreferrer\" rev=\"97\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/usawaterpolo.org\/roster.aspx?rp_id%3D97&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1559780528349000&amp;usg=AFQjCNF-YHXSaVgINVQ_3Ro6brb_EyQvmQ\">Maddie Musselman<\/a><\/dfn>\u00a0<\/strong>(Newport Beach, CA\/UCLA\/CdM Aquatics) was named player of the match in her first game back with Team USA since last summer scoring two goals with\u00a0<strong><dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/usawaterpolo.org\/roster.aspx?rp_id=94\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener smarttag noreferrer\" rev=\"94\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/usawaterpolo.org\/roster.aspx?rp_id%3D94&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1559780528349000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFlW55uI4pLEQ_6kQW7pin-AAIE_Q\">Ashleigh Johnson<\/a><\/dfn><\/strong> (Miami, FL\/Princeton\/NYAC) getting the win in net. Trailing 3-2 in the second quarter the United States outscored Hungary 4-1 to build a 6-4 lead at halftime. The two sides were even in the third quarter scoring two goals each to leave the United States in front by a goal at 8-6.
