Ten gold medals are up for grabs, which will be divided among four technical routines (solo, duet, team and mixed duet) and six free routines (solo, duet, team, free combination, highlight routine and mixed duet).<\/p>\n<p>Russia hopes to continue its success with a strong showing in Gwangju. Its gold medal rush will be spearheaded by <strong>Svetlana Kolesnichenko<\/strong>, who won the solo free and technical routines in 2017, as well as the duet free and technical routines with partner <strong>Alexandra Patskevich<\/strong>. So far this year, Kolesnichenko has been performing duet routines with <strong>Svetlana Romashina<\/strong>. Both women are gold medalists from the 2016 Rio Olympics and are likely to secure additional gold medals<\/p>\n<p>Reigning Italian champions <strong>Manila Flamini<\/strong> and <strong>Giorgio<\/strong> <strong>Minisini<\/strong> have gone head-to-head with Russia\u2019s <strong>Aleksandr Maltsev<\/strong> and<strong> Mayya Gurbanberdieva<\/strong> at both the Beijing and Tokyo stops of the 2019 Artistic Swimming World Series (ASWS).
