He noted that this range will help him at the upcoming World Championships, a meet which he has been able to train strategically and specifically for since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/usa-swimming-finalizes-46-strong-roster-for-2019-world-cha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">qualifying last September<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Characteristically, Grevers had a variety of positive comments to make including thoughts on the upcoming arrival of his second child and the benefits of the FINA Champions Series:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I think it&#8217;s going to keep old guys like me in the game. I think someone will tally the money but this is incredible money for me from just a couple of meets. It really will keep people in that maybe couldn&#8217;t continue swimming financially. It&#8217;s really great for swimmers that are super passionate about the sport but are worried about supporting their families.
