NEW COMMIT: Katherine “Kit Kat” Zenick\u00a0<\/strong>of Southlake, Texas, has declared her verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 to The Ohio State University.<\/p>\n

A talented sprinter, Zenick does her club swimming with Lakeside Aquatic Club and owns a pair of U.S. Open standards with three additional Summer Juniors cuts. She recently placed fourth in the 50m free and 12th in the 100m fly at College Station Speedo Sectionals, achieving a best time in the former. This past summer, she finaled in the 100m fly at Junior Nationals after taking fourth in that event at Austin Speedo Sectionals.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Carroll Senior High School, Zenick is a six-time Texas UIL 6A State Championship finalist.\u00a0She was the 50 free runner-up and took fourth in the 100 fly as a junior after placing seventh in the 100 back and fifth in the 100 fly during her sophomore season. She has also earned both NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors for her efforts.<\/p>\n
