NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Oceanside, N.Y. native and current high school junior\u00a0Morgan Rinn\u00a0<\/strong>has verbally committed to Penn State as a member of the class of 2024 and will join Lizzie Danforth<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Mary Brinker<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in State College next fall.<\/p>\n

Rinn does her club swimming with Long Island Express and owns the U.S. Open cut in the 100m fly with a pair of additional Summer Juniors standards. She earned gold in the 200 fly at Ithaca Speedo Sectionals after finishing 10th in that event at NCSAs. Rinn flew to 21st in the 200m fly at Winter Nationals this past winter and won both fly events at Eastern Zones Seniors last summer.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Oceanside Senior High School, Rinn is a six-time New York Federation Championship finalist.\u00a0She finished fourth in both the 100 fly and 200 IM as a junior after taking seventh and 12th, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
