USA Diving&#8217;s Senior National Championship wrapped up along with the FINA High Diving World Cup and the last leg of the FINA Diving World Series.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/jack-laugher-dan-goodfellow-claim-gold-silver-at-fina-diving-world-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FINA Diving World Series<\/a> wrapped up on May 18th in London. <strong>Jack Laugher\u00a0<\/strong>came out on top on 3m springboard in his home country. Laugher&#8217;s performance fell just short of the world record.<strong> Daniel Goodfellow<\/strong>, also from Great Britain, earned the silver medal.\u00a0<strong>Wang Zongyuan<\/strong>\u00a0from China came in third.<\/p>\n<p>Team Great Britain will ride this victory into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/road-to-tokyo-2020-usa-diving-events-to-watch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">upcoming<\/a> World Championships. There is also the possibility of a strong Laugher-Goodfellow synchro team.<\/p>\n<p>China swept all other events in London, including 13-year-old <strong>Chen Yuxi&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>dominant performance on women&#8217;s ten meter.<\/p>\n<p>On May 25th and 26th in Zhaoqing, China, favorites dominated at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/gary-hunt-rhiannan-iffland-win-2019-fina-high-diving-world-cup-titles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FINA High Diving World Cup<\/a>. <strong>Gary Hunt<\/strong>\u00a0won the men&#8217;s contest for the fourth year in a row.\u00a0<strong>Rhiannan Iffland<\/strong>, the most decorated woman in the sport, took gold in the women&#8217;s event.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, over the course of the week Team USA determined who is diving on their World Championship team at USA Diving Senior Nationals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amy Magana<\/strong> and <strong>Delaney Schnell<\/strong>\u00a0dominated the field on platform earning the top two spots. The women topped third place by 40 points.\u00a0On men&#8217;s platform, <strong>Brandon Loschiavo<\/strong> and <strong>David Dinsmore<\/strong> came out on top, also besting bronze by forty points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brooke Schultz<\/strong> and <strong>Maria Coburn\u00a0<\/strong>finished 0.15 points away from each other, and only 7 points ahead of <strong>Sarah Bacon<\/strong>, on 3m springboard.<\/p>\n<p>Four-time Olympic\u00a0Medalist <strong>David Boudia<\/strong>, won gold on men&#8217;s 3m, his 21st national title.
