His performance broke the meet record, set in 2008 by <strong>Adam Sioui<\/strong>. It also stands as the third-fastest time in the world this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kristofhun Milak<\/strong> has the tip time in 1:53.19, while Hungary\u2019s <strong>Tamas Kenderesi<\/strong> is second in 1:53.42.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2019-mel-zajac-jr-international\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MEET COVERAGE<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sportscanada.tv\/2019-mel-zajac\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">STREAM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is a look at what else happened on Day 3:<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 50 Breast<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Rachel Nichol<\/strong> opened the final session of the meet with a 31.42 in the 50 breast to claim victory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kaitlyn Dobler<\/strong> was the only other swimmer in the field to go under 32 as she finished in 31.93.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Avery Wiseman<\/strong> finished third in 32.02, followed by <strong>Anna Keating<\/strong> (32.48),<strong> Lili Chicoine<\/strong> (32.54), <strong>Janessa Mathew<\/strong>s (32.72), <strong>Abby Arens<\/strong> (32.81) and <strong>Hillary Metcalfe<\/strong> (32.84).<\/p>\n<h2>Men\u2019s 50 Breast<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Kevin Houseman<\/strong> opened the men\u2019s session with a narrow victory in the 50 breast ahead of two competitors.<\/p>\n<p>Houseman won the event in 28.55, followed by<strong> Caspar Corbeau<\/strong> and <strong>Richard Funk<\/strong>, who both swam 28.65 to tie for second.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jimmy Deiparine<\/strong> was fourth in 28.73, followed by<strong> Josh Matheny<\/strong> (29.28),<strong> Justin Lisoway<\/strong> (29.33), <strong>Cy Jager<\/strong> (29.36) and <strong>Ethan Dang<\/strong> (29.63).<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 100 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Torri Huske<\/strong> continued her strong performance this weekend with a win in the 100 free, clocking a 55.69 to hold off <strong>Mackenzie Padington<\/strong> by a hundredth of a second (55.70).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amy Tang<\/strong> was a close third in 55.90.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erika Seltenreich-Hodgson<\/strong> was fourth in 56.37, followed by <strong>Emily Overholt<\/strong> (56.39), <strong>Kelsey Wog<\/strong> (56.40) <strong>Ainsley McMurra<\/strong>y (57.34) and <strong>Emma O\u2019Croinin<\/strong> (57.58).<\/p>\n<h2>Men\u2019s 100 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Cameron Auchinachie<\/strong> was the only one in the field to break a 50 in the 100 free, winning the event in 49.63.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carson Olafson<\/strong> finished second in 50.43, followed by <strong>Jeremy Bagshaw<\/strong> (51.17), <strong>Kyle<\/strong> <strong>Robrock<\/strong> (51.45), <strong>Stephen Calkins<\/strong> (51.50), <strong>Spencer Bougie<\/strong> (51.64), <strong>Mehdi Ayoubi<\/strong> (51.67) and <strong>Barnard Godolphin<\/strong> (51.88).<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 100 Back<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Jade Hannah<\/strong> nearly broke a minute in the women\u2019s 100 back, winning the event in 1:00.14.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Danielle Hanus<\/strong> finished second in 1:01.82, followed by <strong>Annabel Crush<\/strong> in 1:01.99.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ekaterina Avramova<\/strong> and <strong>Caitlin Brook<\/strong>s finished tied for fourth at 1:02.02, followed by <strong>Ingrid Wilm<\/strong> (1:02.35), <strong>Charlotte Hook<\/strong> (1:02.66) and <strong>Janelle Rudolph<\/strong> (1:02.79).<\/p>\n<h2>Men\u2019s 100 Back<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Markus Thormeyer<\/strong> closed the meet with a strong performance in the 100 back.
