NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Minnesota has gained a new verbal commitment for the 2020-21 season and beyond from Madison, Wis. native and current high school junior\u00a0Maeve O’Driscoll<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Primarily a sprint freestyler, O’Driscoll does her club swimming with Badger Aquatic Club and most recently competed at Rochester Speedo Sectionals where she finished 16th in the 50 free after placing 14th in that event at the Wisconsin SCY Championships. This past summer, she took 13th in the splash-and-dash and notched a trio of best times at the Wisconsin LCM Championships.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Madison Edgewood High School, O’Driscoll is a five-time Wisconsin DII State Championship finalist.\u00a0She finished sixth in both the 50 free and 100 free as a junior after placing second and fifth, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
