NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Salt Lake City, Utah breaststroker\u00a0Emma Walker\u00a0<\/strong>has announced her verbal commitment to the University of Kansas as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

Walker, who owns the Winter Juniors standard in the 100 breast, does her club swimming with Wasatch Front Fish Market and most recently placed eighth in both breaststroke events at Phoenix Speedo Sectionals. She raced three events at Juniors West in December and earned silver in the 200m breast and bronze in the 100m breast at the Utah LCM Championships this past summer.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Cottonwood Senior High School, Walker is a six-time Utah State Championship finalist.\u00a0She won the 100 breast and was the 200 IM runner-up as a junior at the 5A meet after finishing first and sixth, respectively, at the 4A Championships during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
