COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, December 3. USA Swimming statistician Anthony Buhr has been doing some stellar work with his swim geekery as part of USA Swimming’s twitter account @USASwimStats. One of his latest ventures has been to run the NCAA top times lists as if championship scoring rules applied. And, the numbers tell some interesting tales.<\/p>\n
One thing to remember about the following information, Buhr does not factor in NCAA rules regarding amount of events a swimmer can compete in. It’s more from a USA Swimming angle where you can swim what you qualify to compete in. But, this is a great way to see how teams stack up against each other on a championship level give-or-take some points.<\/p>\n
