NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Alabama has received a new verbal commitment for the 2020-21 season and beyond from Las Vegas, Nevada native and current high school junior\u00a0Reese Hazan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hazan swims year-round with Sandpipers of Nevada and owns a trio of U.S. Open cuts with five additional Summer Junior standards. She most recently competed at the TYR Pro Swim Series – Knoxville where her highest finish was a ninth-place showing in the 200m fly. At Winter Nationals in December, she placed seventh in the 400m IM to earn her first Olympic Trials cut. She earned gold in the 400m IM and recorded six best times at NCSAs this past summer and placed fourth in that event at 2017 Juniors West.<\/p>\n
