She most recently competed at Indianapolis Speedo Sectionals where her highest finish was a 12th-place showing in the 100 fly after racing a trio of events at Juniors East in December. This past summer, she raced to seventh place in the 100m fly at Spire Speedo Sectionals.<\/p>\n<p>Also competing for Columbus School for Girls, Aurnou-Rhees is a six-time Ohio State Championship finalist.\u00a0She won the 100 fly and was the 200 IM runner-up as a junior after earning gold and bronze, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season. She has also earned both NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors for her efforts.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>\u201cI am SO excited to announce my verbal commitment \u00a0to continue my academic and athletic career for the University of Tennessee!!
