His teammates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ashley-twichell-touches-out-ana-marcela-in-5k-at-nationals-hannah-moore-qualifies-for-worlds\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Erica Sullivan <\/strong><\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/brennan-gravley-discusses-qualifying-for-first-ever-world-championships-in-5k-video-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Brennan Gravley<\/strong><\/a> both grabbed Worlds qualifying spots in the 5K and 25K.<\/p>\n<p>The 16-year was actually back in the water the next day as well, competing with the senior level athletes in the 5K where he finished 35th. He was the highest finisher under 17-years-old in the senior field.
