NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Knoxville, Tenn. native\u00a0Annie Rimmer<\/strong> will stay close to home for her college career after verbally committing to the University of Tennessee as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

No stranger to the Vols’ program, Rimmer does her club swimming with Tennessee Aquatics and owns a pair of Winter Junior standards. She most recently competed at the Southern Premier Invitational after leading off a pair of her team’s relays at Juniors East in December. This past summer, she recorded 100% best times with six top-12 finishes at the Southeastern LCM Championships.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Carter High School, Rimmer is a six-time TISCA Tennessee State Championship finalist.\u00a0She finished fourth in both the 100 free and 100 fly during her sophomore and junior seasons after taking fifth and 10th, respectively, in those events during her rookie campaign.<\/p>\n
