NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Grand Canyon University<\/a> has earned their first verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 from Spring, Texas freestyler and backstroker\u00a0Madeline Vindiola<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Vindiola, who does her club swimming with Premier Aquatics Club of Klein, most recently competed at the Gulf SCY Championships where she won the mile and placed second in the 200 back. She was the leadoff on a pair of PACK’s relays at Juniors West in December and recorded five best times at Southern Zone Seniors this past summer.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Klein High School, Vindiola is a three-time Texas UIL 6A State Championship finalist.\u00a0She placed eighth in both the 200 free and 500 free as a junior after finishing 14th in the latter during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n
