National Team Managing Director <strong>Lindsay Mintenko<\/strong> appointed 22 of the country\u2019s top coaches to lead the three U.S. international teams.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>\u201cWe are fortunate to have excellent collegiate and club coaches in this country and proud of the men and women who will play a big part in our overall positive culture and success this summer,\u201d Mintenko said.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong> \u201cNot only do these international competitions help refine and prepare the U.S.\u2019s top swimmers, but they allow us to provide valuable leadership and development opportunities for our national coaches.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>FINA World Championships<\/h3>\n<p>Tokyo 2020 U.S. Olympic Swimming Team head coaches <strong>Dave Durden<\/strong> (Cal Men\u2019s Swimming) and <strong>Greg Meehan<\/strong> (Stanford Women\u2019s Swimming) have been named head coaches of the men\u2019s and women\u2019s U.S. world championship teams, respectively, for the 18th FINA World Championships in Gwangju, South Korea, July 21-28.
