NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Kansas has received a new verbal commitment for Fall 2020 from St. Peters, Missouri native and current high school junior\u00a0Ellie Wehrmann<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Wehrmann swims year-round with the Flyers Aquatic Swim Team and most recently competed at Columbia Speedo Sectionals where she won the 200 free and placed third in the 100 free. This past summer, she earned three lifetime bests at NCSAs after winning the 50m free and 400m IM at the Ozark LCM Championships.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Incarnate Word Academy, Wehrmann is a six-time Missouri Class 1 State Championship finalist. During her junior season, the current Class 1 record-holder was the 200 free runner-up and won the 100 free.\u00a0She also won the 100\/200 free combo as a sophomore after placing third and fifth, respectively, in those events during her rookie campaign.<\/p>\n
