NEW COMMIT:<\/strong>\u00a0Georgia Tech has gained a new verbal commitment from Denizli, Turkey’s\u00a0Baturalp \u00dcnl\u00fc\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

\u00dcnl\u00fc does his club swimming with Fenerbahce Spor Kuluebue and most recently recorded a pair of best times at the Turkish National Trials where he won the 200m free and 400m free. A current member of the Turkish National Junior Team, he raced the 200m\/400m free combo at the 2018 European Junior Swimming Championships.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I’m excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Georgia Institute of Technology in the fall of 2020. I am beyond proud and honored to have the opportunity to represent Georgia Tech in the pool, the classroom and beyond.
