NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Michigan has earned a verbal commitment for the 2020-21 season from Austin, Texas freestyler and current high school junior Quinn Schaedler<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Schaedler swims year-round with Austin Swim Club and owns four Summer Nationals standards. She most recently earned bronze in both the 100 free and 200 free at College Station Speedo Sectionals after doing the same in both events at Juniors West in December. This past summer, she competed in a trio of events at Phillips 66 Nationals before going on to place 18th in the 100m free at Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at the University of Michigan!! Thank you to my coaches, teammates, friends, and family for helping me get to where I am today. Can\u2019t wait to be apart of this amazing team. Go blue!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
