NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of South Carolina has earned another verbal commitment for the fall of 2020, this time from Carmel, Indiana’s\u00a0Meredith Berglund<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Berglund, who owns the Winter Juniors standard in the 100 fly, does her club swimming with Carmel Swim Club. She recently achieved 100% best times at Indianapolis Speedo Sectionals after racing three events at Juniors East in December. She concluded her long course season at Cary Futures after a successful showing at the Indiana LCM Championships.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Carmel High School, Berglund is a two-time Indiana State Championship finalist.\u00a0The NISCA All-American finished fifth in the 100 fly as a junior after taking fourth in the event during her sophomore season. This past season, Berglund helped Carmel earn their 33rd-straight state title<\/a>.<\/p>\n
