{"id":365950,"date":"2019-04-25T09:24:02","date_gmt":"2019-04-25T16:24:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=365950"},"modified":"2019-04-26T14:35:49","modified_gmt":"2019-04-26T21:35:49","slug":"all-the-links-you-need-for-the-inaugural-fina-champions-series-in-china","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/all-the-links-you-need-for-the-inaugural-fina-champions-series-in-china\/","title":{"rendered":"All the Links You Need For the Inaugural FINA Champions Series in China"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nine Olympic gold medalists, including <strong>Anthony Ervin<\/strong> (USA),<strong> Chad Le Clos<\/strong> (RSA),<strong> Sun Yang<\/strong> (CHN), <strong>Dimitry Balandin<\/strong> (KAZ), <strong>Pernille Blume<\/strong> (DEN), <strong>Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> (SWE), <strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> (NED), <strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> (HUN) and <strong>Dana Vollmer<\/strong> (USA) will be competing at the first FINA Champions Series event in Guangzhou, China this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>16 World Championships gold medalists, including <strong>Ben Proud<\/strong> (GBR), <strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> (USA), <strong>Danas Rapsys<\/strong> (LTU), <strong>Wang Shun<\/strong> (CHN), <strong>Robert Glinta<\/strong> (ROU), <strong>Fabio Scozzoli<\/strong> (ITA), <strong>Anton Chupkov<\/strong> (RUS), <strong>Nicholas Santos<\/strong> (BRA), <strong>Fu Yuanhui<\/strong> (CHN), <strong>Emily Seebohm<\/strong> (AUS) and <strong>Kelsi Dahlia<\/strong> (USA) are set to take the plunge this weekend in Guanghzou, China, from April 27-28.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this high-profile line-up, a total of 42 Olympic and World silver and bronze medallists, 27 men and 15 women, have responded present.<\/p>\n<p>The meet will be two days with timed finals only and four swimmers in each event. All times below are local time in China. The meet will begin Saturday night in China at 8:02 p.m. local time, which means it will be 8:02 a.m. Saturday morning in Eastern Standard Time and 5:02 a.m. Saturday morning on the west coast of the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday&#8217;s session will be at 7:32 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.<\/p>\n<p>The meet can also be viewed live on the Olympic Channel.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a
