Replicating the same result, Stubbs then went on to take home the Boys\u2019 17-18-year 100m Breaststroke Multi-Class, once again ahead of Stewart and Dyer who placed second and third respectively.<\/p>\n<p>An exceptional meet by <strong>Madeleine McTernan<\/strong> (SM14) has seen her snare an incredible eight gold medals across the competition. On the last night McTernan added two more national titles to her list of achievements, taking the 100m backstroke multi-class and then, in her final event of the tournament, the Girls\u2019 16-18-year 200m Individual Medley Multi-Class. Coming in second was Revesby Workers\u2019 <strong>Victoria Jessamine<\/strong> (SM14) and third place was pinched by Woy Woy\u2019s <strong>Tahlia Blanshard<\/strong> (SM8).<\/p>\n<p>After dominating this morning\u2019s finals session, UWA West Coast\u2019s <strong>Ella Hodgson<\/strong> (S16) continued to back up her gold-medal-winning performances this evening. In her first event of the night \u2013 the Girls\u2019 11-14-year 50m Backstroke Multi-Class \u2013 Hodgson recorded a time of 35.65 to earn a point score of 1015 and take the crown. Norwood\u2019s <strong>Isabella Vincent<\/strong> (S7) \u2013 who also had a successful meet with five medals to her name \u2013 nabbed the silver, while Clovercrest\u2019s <strong>Jasmin Fullgrabe<\/strong> (S9) pinched bronze.<\/p>\n<p>In the corresponding event for the boys, <strong>Alexander Tuckfield<\/strong> (S9) from SLC Aquadot couldn\u2019t be stopped. Charging to the wall in 36.23 to obtain a point score of 477, only 19 points separated first and second, with <strong>Nicholas Toia<\/strong> (S16) from PLC Sydney clocking 39.09 and 458 points. Revesby Workers\u2019 <strong>Lachlan Hanratty<\/strong> (S14) secured third spot, only marginally behind in 35.92 and 449 points.<\/p>\n<p>Woogaroo\u2019s <strong>Poppy Wilson<\/strong> (S10) continued to blossom on the national stage, recording yet another victory at the Australian Age Swimming Championships \u2013 marking her sixth gold. She had tough competition in the Girls\u2019 15-16-year 100m Freestyle from Victoria Park\u2019s <strong>Amy Ralph<\/strong> (S9) who snared second spot, and crowd favourite, local Norwood athlete <strong>Sophie Pontifex<\/strong> (S8), who attained bronze.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike his last name, <strong>Henry Reardon<\/strong> (S10) proved he likes to finish in front \u2013 claiming the top honour in the Boys\u2019 15-16-year 100m Freestyle Multi-Class. The Toowoomba Grammar product took the national age title ahead of Geelong\u2019s<strong> Dylan Logan<\/strong> (S15) and The Hobart Aquatic\u2019s, <strong>Jet Jankiewicz<\/strong> (S10).<\/p>\n<p>Wagga Wagga\u2019s<strong> Ashley Van Rijswijk<\/strong> (SB14) scored her first gold medal of the meet, taking home the Girls\u2019 17-18 100m Breaststroke Multi-Class race. After already racking up a number of silver and bronze medals across the last two and a half days, the emerging swimmer\u2019s persistence and determination was rewarded. <strong>Ruby Halliday<\/strong> (SB7) from <strong>Melbourne Vicentre<\/strong> nabbed silver and Victoria Jessamine (SB14) from Revesby Workers received bronze.<\/p>\n<p>After amassing four silver medals and one bronze, Geelong\u2019s <strong>Dylan Logan<\/strong> (SB15) claimed a coveted gold on the final night of the champs. Triumphant in the Boys\u2019 15-16-year 50m Breaststroke, Logan finished on a high ahead of City of Sydney\u2019s <strong>Timothy Lee<\/strong> (SB15) and SLC Aquadot\u2019s <strong>Kaden Smith<\/strong> (SB14).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mercedes Siganto<\/strong> (SB9) from Waterworx was driven to succeed in the Girls\u2019 11-14-year 100m Breaststroke Multi-Class, speeding in front of Laurieton\u2019s<strong> Sarah McIntosh<\/strong> (SB14) and Uni of Queensland\u2019s <strong>Ainsley Dullaway<\/strong> (SB14) to secure the gold. It was a tight tussle for the national age title, with only 39 points separating the top three positions \u2013 544, 527 and 505.<\/p>\n<p>In the final event of the 2019 Hancock Prospecting Australian Age Swimming Championships \u2013 the Boys\u2019 16-18-year 200m Individual Medley \u2013 it was <strong>Bailey Stewart<\/strong> (SM14) who claimed his second gold medal of the meet.
