NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Texas A&M University has gained a new in-state verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 from Missouri City, Texas native\u00a0Bobbi Kennett<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Kennett does her club swimming with Sienna Plantation Aquatics and owns four Winter Junior standards. She most recently competed at TYR ISCA Junior Nationals where she posted seven top-12 finishes after winning five events at the Gulf SCY Championships. She placed 14th in both the 50m free and 100m free at Rochester Futures this past summer after winning the former at Gulf LCM Seniors.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Ridge Point High School, Kennett is a five-time Texas UIL 6A State Championship finalist.\u00a0She placed fourth in the 100 free and fifth in the 50 free as a junior after placing 12th and fourth, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my swimming and academic career as an Aggie! I\u2019d like to thank my friends, family, and coaches for supporting me throughout this process. I\u2019d also like to thank Coach Bob and Sienna Plantation Aquatics for helping and believing in me!
