Thank you everyone for all your support, I could hear you the whole time so it doesn&#8217;t go unnoticed so thank you so much. Everything has been really good, just following the process and really enjoying it!&#8221;\u00a0Crawford said in her post-race interview.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bree Anderson<\/strong> (Nelson South) took second with a time of 2:46.61s and <strong>MacKenzie Brears<\/strong> (United) followed third with a time of 2:52.54s.<\/p>\n<p>Breana\u2019s brother, <strong>Bowen Crawford<\/strong> (Mags) also gained the title for the boys 14 years 200m Breaststroke. He finished in 2:31.34s, following his sisters time respectively.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.swimming.org.nz\/visageimages\/NAGS170419-043.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"209\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Photo: Ciara Smith (Northwave)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ciara Smith<\/strong> (Northwave) also made a National Age Group record in the girls 17-18 years Breaststroke with a time of 2:33.64s, beating the previous NZ record of 2:34.31s held by <strong>Annabelle Carey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.swimming.org.nz\/visageimages\/NAGS170419-055.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><em>Photo: Michael Pickett (North Shore)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Pickett<\/strong> (North Shore) made the qualifying time for the 2019 FINA World Junior Championships in the Boys 16 years 50m Freestyle. Pickett was close to breaking his own National Age Group record from, equalling his record time of 22.66.<\/p>\n<p>In second place was <strong>Daniel Shanahan<\/strong> (Evolution) who finished in 24.71s and <strong>Henry Crump<\/strong> (Aquagym) placed third with a time of 24.94s.<\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.swimming.org.nz\/visageimages\/NAGS170419-053.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" \/><\/b><em>Photo: Luan Grobbelarr (Kiwi West)<b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luan Grobbelaar<\/strong> (Kiwi West) born in South Africa and a now a NZ resident, breaks the National Age Group record for the Boys 17 years 200m Breaststroke with a time of 2:16.53s. <strong>Jacob Garrod<\/strong> held the previous NZ record of 2:17.02s in 2014.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas Hughson<\/strong> (Howick) finished second in 2:23.64s and <strong>Bailey Wang<\/strong> (Phoenix) following just behind in third place with a time of 2:23.70s.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.swimming.org.nz\/visageimages\/NAGS160419-047.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Photo: Erika Faiweather (Neptune)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Erika Fairweather<\/strong> (Neptune) got a personal best (PB) on the 15 years 50m Freestyle and was just 0.82 seconds off breaking the National Age Group record, with a time of 26.47s. However, Fairweather did beat the National Age Group record for the Girls 800m Freestyle with a time of 8:45.91s. This time didn&#8217;t just smash the 15 years record but also the National Age Group record for 16 years also.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aimee Crosbie<\/strong> (United) finished incredibly close in second place, 0.01s behind Fairweather with a time of 26.48s. <strong>Jemma Wilson<\/strong> (Taieri) made third place in 27.25.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.swimming.org.nz\/visageimages\/NAGS170419-058.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" \/> <em>Photo: Eve Thomas (Coast)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Eve Thomas<\/strong> (Coast) swam incredibly well gaining the title of the Girls 17-18 800m Freestyle with a time of 8:43.43s.
