The night&#8217;s events included the 50 free, men&#8217;s 1500 free, 100 back, 100 breast and the 200 free.<\/p>\n<p>Check out more coverage of the meet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2019-french-swimming-championships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 50 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Charlotte Bonnet<\/strong> won the 50 at the 2019 French Swimming Championships with a time of 24.77 to qualify for worlds. She was followed by <strong>Melanie Henique<\/strong> (25.05) and <strong>Marie Wattel<\/strong> (25.14). In fourth was <strong>Anna Santamans<\/strong> 25.19. In fifth was<strong> Lena Santamans <\/strong>in a time of 25.25. <strong>Anouchka Martin<\/strong> (25.43),<strong> Faustine Prouff<\/strong> (25.69) and <strong>Mana-Elena Letang<\/strong> (25.77) rounded out the top eight.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 1500 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>David Aubry<\/strong> won the national title at the 2019 French Swimming Championships with a time of 14:57.56. In second was <strong>Damien Joly<\/strong> (14:58.15) \u2014 both qualifying for worlds \u2014 and in third was <strong>Marc-Antoine Olivier<\/strong> (15:10.60). In fourth was <strong>Paul Beaugrand<\/strong> in a time of 15:12.32. In fifth was <strong>Ahmend-Ayoub Hafnaoui<\/strong> in a time of 15:27.25.<strong> Guillaume Roux<\/strong> (15:34.00), <strong>Paul Barascud<\/strong> (15:45.01) and <strong>Hugo Saillard<\/strong> (15:16.59) rounded out the top eight.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 100 Back<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Beryl Gastaldello<\/strong> touched first with a time of 1:00.07 to qualify for worlds. In second was <strong>Pauline Mahieu<\/strong> in a time of 1:01.71.<strong> Lila Touili<\/strong> was third in a time of 1:02.02. She was followed by<strong> Mathilde Cini<\/strong> with a 1:02.11. <strong>Louise Lefebvre<\/strong> was fifth with a time of 1:03.55. In sixth was <strong>Bertille Cousson<\/strong> in a time of 1:03.93.<strong> Laurine Del&#8217;Homme<\/strong> was seventh with a time of 1:04.02 and<strong> Clothilde Cousson<\/strong> was eighth with a time of 1:05.17.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 100 Back<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Yohann Ndoye Brouard<\/strong> was victorious with a time of 54.40. He was followed closely by<strong> Stanislas Huille<\/strong> (54.76), <strong>Paul-Gabriel Bedel<\/strong> (54.81) and <strong>Maxence Orange<\/strong> (54.92).<strong> Mewen Tomac<\/strong> was fifth in a time 55.20. <strong>Geoffroy Mathieu<\/strong> was sixth in a time of 55.41.<strong> Ladislas Salczer<\/strong> was seventh in a time of 55.44 and <strong>Souhaiel Chatti<\/strong> was eighth in a time of 55.58.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 100 Breast<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Fanny Deberghes<\/strong> was first with a time of 1:08.60. <strong>Camille Dauba<\/strong> was second with a time of 1:09.28 and <strong>Justine Delmas<\/strong> was third with a time 1:10.47. <strong>Aureana Devaluez<\/strong> was fourth with a time of 1:10.57. <strong>Carmella Kitching<\/strong> was fifth in a time of 1:11.09.<strong> Meghan Frouin<\/strong> was sixth in a time of 1:11.20 and <strong>Lucie Delmas<\/strong> was seventh in a time of 1:11.49.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 200 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Jordan Pothain<\/strong> was first with a time of 1:47.33 to qualify for worlds. <strong>Roman Fuchs<\/strong> was second with a time of 1:48.63. <strong>Mehdi Lagili<\/strong> was third with a time of 1:48.65. <strong>Remi Meresse<\/strong> was fourth with a time of 1:49.22. <strong>Jonathan Atsu<\/strong> (1:49.48),<strong> Logan Fontaine<\/strong> (1:49.52), <strong>Alexandre Derache<\/strong> (1:51.42) and <strong>Lorys Bourelly<\/strong> (1:51.70) rounded out the top eight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The second night of finals at the 2019 French Swimming Championships saw some amazing swims as swimmers try to qualify for world championships and other international competitions.
