NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Fitchburg, Wisc. native\u00a0Truman teDuits<\/strong> has declared his in-state verbal commitment to the University of Wisconsin as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

No stranger to Wisconsin’s program, teDuits swims year-round with Badger Aquatic Club and owns the Winter Juniors standard in the 200 IM. He most recently competed at NCSAs where he recorded a trio of lifetime bests and placed 24th in the 50 breast. He won the 200 breast and was the runner-up in both the 100 IM and 400 IM at the Wisconsin SCY Championships and earned three golds at the Wisconsin LCM Championships this past summer.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Madison Edgewood High School, teDuits is a six-time Wisconsin DII State Championship finalist.\u00a0He won the 100 breast and 200 IM as a junior after earning gold in the 100 free and silver in the 200 IM during his sophomore season. During his freshman campaign, he took third in the 100 breast and fourth in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n
